I feel like the game concept is good, but the execution not so much. It's really not bad for a first game jam, but as BlackSmite said it suffers severely from a lack of explanation. It's really, really hard to tell what to do and with a bit more time and effort I feel that it would've flourished.
Interesting idea which suffers from a lack of explanation. Almost stopped playing because I couldn't pass the tutorial, but then I checked the itch page for the game and saw that the magnetize key was mislabeled (it's actually shift, not r).
There's definitely something here, it felt great to be launched by the magnets in the second level though I'm not sure whether that was intended or just a bug. With some more work + the addition of some sounds and music, this could be a really fun game!
I couldn't pass the first obstacle, as I didn't understand what the magnetization does.
This is my first jam game in a few years and I couldn't keep the pace up, tutorial was made in 2 minutes right before submission :D
When the bots (or the cubes in levels) are activated they create a magnetic field. They attract their opposite (positive to negative, negative to positive) and repel their own (positive repel positive, negative repel negative). If I had more time I think I would've given all the magnetic objects a visual effect for their fields, they're invisible unfortunately.
