Hey I did something really similar to you! Pretty cool interpretation of this idea! The mouse move is tricky because it always aims forward and if the bulk of your guns are facing a different way you always have to offset for this! I just went for arrow keys rotation instead. Not sure which is more fun. But yeah this is cool! Nice entry :D

Very nice concept and concise graphics, I enjoyed playing this :)

I really enjoy this! Feeling some `Captain Forever` vibes from it.

I love how quickly the difficulty scales up, and the gameplay evolves (While also still giving you time to collect powerups between waves). The game performs well, too.

I think it could be improved by a bit of music.

Issues:

  • I don't know if this is just a me thing, but I couldn't actually aim with my Mouse; My ship would only face up+left at all times, which was difficult.
  • Trying to rotate with the joystick was kind of janky. I found the easiest way to rotate was by using my triggers (Using a Dualshock 4); Left trigger weirdly rotated right up to 90º, right trigger rotated left up to 90º, and then if I held both, I could turn the whole 180º.

sorry to hear about the bugs… I encountered none of them. It must have been so hard to play that way ^^!
