This was a cool idea to tie the controller inputs together in different ways per level! Some of the platforming segments were a bit difficult, but not entirely impossible. Some areas were too dark to see where I was going which made it harder. With a few tweaks I think this central mechanic could be a solid base for more if you wanted to continue this idea!
Thank you for the feedback! It seems I have created a rage game by accident. xD
We almost had the exact same concept, great job especially for only one person !
Thanks a lot!
Noice game! I’d maybe tune down the attack animation’s particle count, as a bright blue boom when the screen is really dark is a tad overkill. Apart from taht I like the fact that level 4 or 5 teaches you that crouching makes it so that enemies don’t run at you. Overall nice project and something to be proud of :)
Thanks for the feedback!
The concept is fun, nice project for a single guy!
Thanks a lot!
Game never loaded for me :( sorry homie. Still gave a decent rating.
Thanks! I'll fix the HTML5 version after the jam, but you can still play on Windows if you want. :)
I think you had a really good idea here, but didn't really get it to a very fun place. The music loop is kinda short and gets annoying to fast, the controls sometimes don't seem to respond, and at first it's counterintuitive that the liked controls are one-directional.
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't really have time to create the music suitable for the game, so I used an earlier loop of mine... Also, there are some Unity bugs with the colliders that are making the controls glitchy (pun intended) which I will probably fix after the jam.
