Love this game, great gameplay and I love the art. Great job, one of my favourites!

Nice little game! I can see some inspiration from Loop Hero maybe? ;)

Also our games seem to share some similarities! Mine is also about tiles, although my tiles act a bit differently than yours ^_^. Was fun to play, thanks for making it!

Developer(+1)

Yeah! We were going for DorfRomantik initially but definitely ended up looking more like loop hero! Thanks for playing!

Fun little game, I liked the variety of tiles and the art was very nice! I did at the beginning get a little confused between the town tile and the grass tile though, perhaps if this was expanded on you'd make the grass that the town has a different shade of green

Developer(+1)

Thank for the feedback! We do plan on expanding the game so we'll definitely work on making each tile more distinct!

Cool idea that I could definitely see being expanded as a fun little casual game. I have to say that this game looks amazing I love the pixel art and little tile designs you made. Keep up the good work.

Cool game, it took a few minutes before I knew what to do, but its a clever game!

Yeah one of my biggest regrets was not having time for a proper tutorial.  Glad you figured it out and enjoyed though :)

Man this was great. I would love to see this expanded with more tile types and combinations. The only complaint I would make is that some of the larger combinations, like the mountain temple, seem a little difficult to make in comparison to easier combination, such as large mushrooms, which also give you a lot of coins. The sprite work on everything is great, and the music is nice and relaxing. I like this one a lot.

I didn't find all the combinations, but even just creating squares this game is fun. I like how the tilesets work together, and that the final product looks like a map sorta. It could use a little visual polish, but it's a fun, clever game!

Developer(+1)

We both want to do a little more work on this project. Tweak some numbers and make the rules a little clearer. There's a good bit that just isn't explained to the player that could be easily taken care of with some in-game tutorial or references.

Other than tile combinations, what do you think needed the most explanation?

Thank you for playing the game, I'm glad you had some fun with it!

The design of this game is really unique and creative. I really like the process of discovery as you're playing. I neglected to pay attention to the tutorial animation before jumping in the game and felt a bit lost when I got in. Having a reference for the objective in a menu screen or something would help people like me who don't read directions before starting :P

But, like I said, It's a really creative design and addicting when you get in there. You just need to give newbies a little more handholding in the beginning.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for taking the time to play. I agree with you completely, I may or may not have spent extra time testing instead of making those tutorials. Woops.

I like the reroll sound and art, but other stuff seem a bit less polished. Great game!

(I kept trying to crank the lever hoping it'd work.. haha)

Developer(+1)

Yeah super sorry about that at one point during development we mirrored the slot machine sprite but I forgot to update the hitbox to match!  And since I always used the hotkeys I never noticed until it was too late :(.  Still glad you enjoyed it!

Hey mate. Some feedback:

Please explain what I need to do on some kind of tutorial on the game itself.

I rerolled my tiles accidentally ( several times ), even after the hotkeys. Please make the R farther from the QWE

I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me the building combinations.

I'd appreciate it if you could make it so that the chances of a tile appearing after it not appearing for a while would increase. Doing so would make the game feel less RNG-dependent.

Swamps are *waaay* too OP.

Lastly, MAKE A FRICKING WEB BUILD NEXT TIME BOYKALA and ADD FRICKING HIGHSCORES BOYKALA.

I love it! Very fun. I love games like this! I loved the transformations of the tiles! Some good and clever surprises there! YESSSSSSSS!

Submitted(+2)

Also I loved that it was left-handed! Just YES! We need more of that in the world. <3

very fun game! but you might want to shrink the hitbox on the reroll. i kept accidentally  hitting it instead of grabbing a tile. i love the art + idea btw :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I think if we continue to work on this some items might be redesigned to be further from one another. We also have hotkeys (Q W E R) but accidental rerolls happen there too.
