Why does this game have so few ratings? It has a WebGL build, it was featured in the stream, and it's pretty brilliant actually! Original idea, looks great, and I really like the interesting challenges it presents (do you aim for the enemy's cannon when you need a cannon yourself? etc.) It is a bit hard and unforgiving though. One subtle thing that makes it hard is that shooting while moving (the thing you do all of the time during combat) doesn't quite work as expected. I think aiming would be more intuitive if your projectiles copy your current ship velocity.

Hey thanks! And thanks for playing and leaving feedback! Yeah I agree we certainly needed to work on that difficulty curve, particularly in the beginning. That's an interesting point though about the velocity based projectiles- its not something we'd thought of at all! Will keep this sort of shooting approach in my for future projects.
Damn, I want to like this game! Well, I actually enjoyed it, but I wish I could go further! The concept is awesome! It's clever, fun to manipulate (quickly drag'n drop part of the ship is just satisfying), and could really gives a great sense of progression!
Unfortunately the game is really hard and punitive right at the beginning. Just at the start you get circled by ennemis with lots of turrets, that just destroy your crucial ship parts. Maybe there's a strategy to have, but I couldn't find it. The best I achieved to do was to focus on ennemies weapons to make them less dangerous (too bad, I initially wanted to steal it from them!). And unfortunately once I was getting a bit good at it, I faced a bug that prevent me to add any part to my ship (or doing actually doing anything, as I was getting slower and slower despite having less and less part). The game let me select a component, but didn't want to drop it...
And that's a pity, because the game sensation are really fun! Yeah, the fights are a bit clumsy (more than once I was shooting in random directions while ennemies off-screen were attacking me), but it's simple enough to be fun. And mostly, I loved obttaining new parts and sticking them where there was room! It creates a really satisfying feeling of progression! I really wish I could progress furrther in the game and accumulate a ridiculous amount of turrets and propulsors! ^^ But despite that regret, I must say I spent a nice time with the game. Very cool idea, and great presentation!
Haha yeah that's a fair critique, we scoped a little too much for our team size and ended up running out of time to actually balance the gameplay. This lead to the really punishing start where you can get bottle necked in. Sorry about the bug too (that was caught post submission)
Thank you for your constructive feedback, I am glad you enjoyed your time and can totally relate it being too hard
SUPER FUN AND DYNAMIC.
The game allows for a lot of very complex decision-making despite how simple it is. SUPER FUN.
Dude this game is awesome. We had a similar idea with buildable and customizable robots during brainstorming before settling on something more simple, I'm glad someone else was able to make something so cool using the idea. The music was great, and the way it slowly built up was really cool. Great work on this one!
Haha this is a pretty tough game, really dig the idea and had fun playing! Perhaps having some sort of small built-in booster or movement ability on the player would be helpful as I ended up dead in the water with my one engine destroyed on numerous attempts. But, overall great work!
Very unique game! love the environment. Some instructions on the controls would have been nice but I was able to figure it out and had a good time rearranging my ship and trying new combos! Great work!
This is similar to my game but with much more strategy.
Interesting to see this Concept explored by someone else as well.
