You can't put anything in the trash, the connected lifebar between you and your client is just a fancy timer, and I don't understand why there is two separated rooms for gathering ingredients or why is there even a fighting mechanic.

I really liked the art direction though, and the polish is really good

This is practically overcooked with a bit of combat.
But it is polished and looking good so I'm not entirely sure what to think.

The cpntrols weren't the easiest to grasp but once I realised how to play I found it great. Well done.

This is a polished game with a fun, if slightly annoying, gameplay. But by the Eldritch Gods, "your life is joined with the hunger level" is on par with saying "Mario is about joining the plumber with the princess (and flagpoles in the process)". The game is good for a jam, indeed very good - it has great visuals, good audio, and smooth controls, but it disregards the theme so clearly.

The concept, presentation, and controls are firing on all cylinders for this one, well done! Game looks great, feels pretty darn good, and it's a well-executed and straight-forward premise. The signs inside the pantries are a nice reminder of which enemy makes which dish, but some indicator in the kitchen showing which pantry has which enemy would be useful. I failed the first time because I didn't see the left exit and kept going to the right and couldn't find the correct ingredients which was a little frustrating. Also, the core concept of the game works with the theme, but there don't seem to be any mechanics actually affecting the player's health? The health bars are tied, but since they're always equal, they're effectively the same meter and linking them doesn't mean anything. The ingredients/monsters don't even hurt you when you run over them. It'd be more interesting if they fought back in some way.

Overall, game did not disappoint. This is a cool concept and I would be happy to play an expanded version of this with different recipes, ingredients, or bosses/clients. Good job!

Always been a fan of Vimlark's games and this one is no exception. The fast paced yet manageable playstyle is amazing. I've played it over and over now. Great game.

Very fun and well made game. It took me a while to understand what to do, as I didn't know I could go in those other rooms, but once I got the hang of it, it was really satisfying. The artwork is amazing and I love how the foods relate to the creatures. I don't really see how it fits the theme though, seems like a bit of a stretch.

Great little arcade experience!  Had a blast with this one and the visuals are great  :)

Of course, fantastic art! Really well done for 48 hours to get that much polish done and even 3 game modes!

i was really confused at first but figured it out by my third run. I don’t think it really relates to the theme very well, but the art is amazing and it feels very put together. <3

The health/hunger link behaves mostly like a timer, which puts pressure on the player to go fast! Quite hard, but with incredible artwork, good job!

Thank you for the game!

Nice work! The game was beautiful, and the gameplay reminded me a lot of "Overcooked", but it was a short fun game. I did find a bug where the creatures could overlap causing you to only be unable to pick up the one you wanted.

The game plays great, the art style is good, and the polish is amazing. The quality is really impressive for a game made in 48 hours. Only thing I'm not so sure about is the connection to the prompt, I get the explanation but it seems like a bit of a stretch. Good work though!

wooww the visual are very polished and great, and the idea is brilliant. you always made a great game!

Very well executed. Loved the art!
For some reason it took me a few times to get my head around the controls.

Awesome work!

Very well made and polished game. The artstyle is perfect! It's like if overcooked and enter the gungeon had a baby together. Took me a while to figure out what to do with the ingredients, but once I did it made sense and was able to complete the game. A very enjoyable ride!

My only concern is how this game fits in the theme of "Joined together". The lore fits the theme if you say that the hunger and the life are joined together, but on a game design standpoint, I think it's a bit of a stretch!

Very great game overall definitely one of the best I tried this jam! Great  team

Extremely fun and hectic game. It does take some time to learn the ropes, but once I figured out what to do I had a blast rampaging through the rooms and collecting ingredients. Visuals are top notch, the artist did an amazing job with the monsters and Velma. I also like how the cooking is conveniently timed so that when I'm done grabbing an ingredient, a separate dish is finished cooking at the same time.

The only thing is that I'm not really getting the theme here. The two health bars are "joined together," but you could easily get rid of the chef's health bar and replace it with a big Velma hunger bar and it wouldn't change anything. It would make more sense if the chef took damage from something, but I tried running into the enemies and they don't damage me.

Overall, very fun game, I'm looking forward to the dev log for this one!

Love the evil mistress/boss idea and having to scramble to stun the cute little ingredients to make a meal! What I think could be fun is to add a supermeal option with more than one ingredient where you combine more than one ingredient and it fulls up a lot more health/hunger. I could definitely see this as a banger multiplayer game with friends too!

Lovely art, hilarious gameplay, a little confusing at first, but super fun when you get the hang of it :)
