Fun and good idea to put it in the confines of a stealth game
I like the graphics and the concept, but I didn't understand a lot of what was going on. For once, it seems like the chain does nothing, stretching it actually makes the character go faster instead of stopping them, so there was no need to control both guys, you move faster by leaving one behind. And I never died or anything, I could just move around freely until I get to the end? I've seen comments saying they got caught, so maybe I was just lucky, hahaha! But you got some cool ambience there, I like the lighting and the birds chirping. Great job!
Nice! I was playing for a long time with the enemy sight code, I was afraid it might be too op so I toned it down after testing. Also I never saw during testing that you could move like that. HTML5 bugs maybe? Is it in the download version?
Only played HTML5 version.
The fact that I can only jump with arrow key up (and not W) confused me since I was able to play the two characters moving with A and D, had a minor issue with the platform before the end and the game seems to have crashed / ended after the first level (not sure if this is intended). Overall good work and interesting idea for the game!
Thanks for the comments. Indeed I didn't code that you could be able to jump with w. Maybe I should have since it's fairly easy and I was already using the Input Axis for the horizontal movement. As for the crash, that's just the only level we did, sorry for the lack of content, jeje.
Not to worry, these were just my observations, obviously it won't be perfect but you did amazing in the time you had!
You know what's funny tho? I actually had the "w" to jump coded in and then I removed it cause I thought it would be confusing. lol
Interesting concept! I like the ambience, but the game is a little bit dim. Also, it was a little difficult to tell when the people were looking our direction.
True, we struggled a bit deciding the ambient lighting. We tried to give it a dark nightish vibe but I guess it might have been too much.
