Nice idea for a game, haven't really seen a concept like that before. Feels like it belongs on mobile. Feels juicy too, the animations all looked great and gave good feedback that was connected to the game's state. I think it might have been better for me if it were less based around mouse skills and fast action, and more puzzley.

I was surprised that I could connect across the white blob in the centre. I initially thought that was what was breaking the lines. When I finally worked out that they were being over-stretched I just started connecting them when they first came into view. Took me a while to work out that the blob in the middle is just a level-completeness indicator!

I wanted a bit more variety in the puzzles. It could work loads of ways, not just concentric and counter rotating rings.

Really well presented while in-game, but the default Unity UGUI start page doesn't let you know that you're playing something built with much love. Is it built with Shapes? I think that would have been my approach. So much easier to build that way...

Thank you for your indeph feedback and praise, I find my self agreeing with all your suggestions.

I do think I'm going to continue the development of this game hoping to to branch down more puzzle like gameplay instead of mouse skills.

And you are indeed correct I used shapes, I really do enjoy using that plugin 😁

I'm a recent convert to Shapes. My entire game is made with it! It fills a missing gap that Unity has had forever.

I'm an ex-Flash developer, and when I moved to Unity I couldn't believe how primative the tool was in comparason. I was like "so how do you actually draw something? And where's the timeline? And why can't you do nested prefabs?". They've only just fixed the nested prefabs thing in the last year or so! The other two... Still waiting.

Simple yet effective idea that leads to an interesting gameplay. I don't know if it is the way I play but for me gameplay quickly turns into just connecting circles as fast as I can without thinking about tension. Overall I liked it.

I got a score of 7, don't think I would be able to score higher.

The visuals and sound are amazing. Very clean and profesional. I really like the little animations of the big nodes and the scene transitions.

Cool polished game, it would have been nice if you would be able to pull in the other direction as well.

very simple game but easy to understand and it does what it does very well! good work :)

cool game! This is similar to the type of game I wanted to make, but just couldn't figure out the coding. While simple, the art style is really nice and polished & sounds are perfect! Would have preferred to have different levels with a set "goal time" to achieve, rather than a time limit and just get as far as you can, but otherwise nice game!

I'd appreciate if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Looks really polished and has good gameplay, good job

Lovely game with really clean animations and good concept. I had to focus for a lot of those levels (my high score is 5). But one thing with the visuals is that they're not consistent, the main gameplay looks great but the menu, the timer and the score screen doesn't follow the theme of the game; simple things.

The only thing I dislike is probably the losing screen, it's quite ugly compared to the beautiful art of the game. I can see the lightning and the post processing being used, it really set the mood for the game. The audio choice is fantastic. The gameplay is simple to get familiarized but can offers some real challenges. Overall awesome job!

Very simple yet interesting concept. A lot harder than I initially thought it would be

Amazing and clean art!  I really like the circles opening up to shoot ~ Please check mine, when you get time :D

An interesting concept for sure. Very simple but in a good way. It could make for a fun mobile game.

Though one potential issue here is the reliance on colours. Personally for me it was pretty difficult to tell the difference between the shades of green and yellow used here. It would be nice to add something like matching shape as an accessibility feature for a final version if you decide to make one.

Love the concept, the look and the sound. I just wish there was more feedback like when you are about to run out of time and that its based on tension

Love the concept! At first it was hard to understand why the game would break my connections. To be honest I still dont know if I fully understand why they break but I feel like I got the hang of it! Good game good art!

Wow, loved the concept, pretty cool. Maybe use different forms as well so people who struggle with color can play it xD

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely add something like that 🙂

I did not expect this kind of polish, the animations are really good, the audio fits very well, and the concept is simple but addicting. This would make a great mobile game, once you polish the UI a bit. Very nice!

Love me a minimalist puzzle game. This would work amazing with touch controls, i need it on my phone!

A very fun game, and nicely simple in its concept. I am unsure why it's exactly a spell circle - the name is slightly misleading that way. Its simplicity also makes it tiresome after a couple tries, but that much can be expected anyway.

As a side note: great sound design. The elements feel very responsive because of it.

A very polished game. I like the simplicity, and is fun.

Hey hey hey! Your graphics look so nice! The concept is really simple and every is so sleek. As mentioned below some of the colours are really similar making it a bit hard to differentiate.

It took me a bit to noticed the links were shrinking, and that's what made the links snap.
I don't think the timer is the best way to approach this either. I think it would 'have been better if you just made a level select screen, instead of having the timer reset you every time.

Hope this helps!
