Quite good! I was initially questioning the duality of space invaders and breakout but it worked quite well. However I do think it would be a bit better if either there was only one ball (during breakout mode) or the balls were somehow programmed so that they would reach the edges at the same x position or at different times because sometimes it was impossible to avoid losing a life. Also I think it might be better if switching "modes" was on a timer rather than based on score because when you get to only one or two blocks left it becomes very unlikely for one of the balls to hit them. Another more minor thing is that it would be nice if we could have some visual indication of where the blocks will start moving in the other direction, as it is very difficult to tell and makes it hard to line up shots. Also the sound effects are a bit loud compared to the music imo but that might just be personal preference.
Overall quite fun, definitely original and a lot better than I could do in 48 hours lol
Good stuff!
I like this mashup! Could use a bit of tuning, but as game jam games go, this is great!
It was a good concept but it was really tiring, the sounds overlapped and the colors with lighting and the constant ball missing the one last pixel.
Interesting concept to combine two arcade classics. However, it feels like the ball needs to be faster, and there needs to be a more predictable enemy in the center to hit. Also, it seems to be random when I switch from Pong to Space Invader mode?
not totally random, it switches after you destroy a certain number of blocks / invaders
Fun idea!! A bit tricky to hit the last few blocks
Nice concept!
I really like it in concept. It got frustrating when it just felt random as to whether or not you could actually finish the last block, since it's breakout that's just moving almost randomly. Pretty cool overall, and I loved the look.

This game gets pretty hectic! Idk if it's a bug or what, but the first time I played level 1 I got maybe one volley off before it told me I won, and I was pretty confused for a bit. Only happened once though, and I was able to go back and play both levels normally after that
huh, yeah, definitely a bug, should only win if all blocks are destroyed
