Controls were a little finicky, but it's a cool idea. Almost made it to the top! :)

I am so sad I didn't manage to really get my head around the controls, as others say it's a nice game

Interesting mechanics, though at one point there was a bug where the rope "broke". I like the take on the theme, and was able to play on Linux with wine.

Developer(+1)

Ah yea I had a few issues with the physics of the rope which made it pretty buggy under some circumstances. Interesting that you can play on Linux, another user said that they couldn't so I'll try research why that might be. Thank you for playing!

Keep in mind Linux is more like a family of OSs than a single one, so some things might work in one and not another. Wine allows us to try to run Windows apps, but doesn't always work, and not everyone is comfortable in using it.

Takes a minute or 2 to get into, but once you start swinging around it gets really fun to play. Really enjoy the design of the mountain.

Developer

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed playing. Yeah quite a few people have said that the controls take a bit to get used to so you're not alone on that one. Control schemes will definitely be something I'll work on to improve for future games.

Physics are a bit janky, and also kinda the most obvious idea that fits the theme... sorry...

Developer

Yeah the physics of the rope is definitely an issue and now that I think about it, I guess my idea was a pretty obvious choice haha. Nonetheless, thank you for trying out my game!

I agree with the other guy - took a moment to figure out but once I did it was pretty satisfying. Well done! Knew I'd find someone else doing a rock climbing game lol

Developer

Haha awesome that you did a climbing game too, I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks for playing!

FYI, it doesn't support Linux. Please mark it accordingly! :)

Developer(+1)

Ah, sorry about that. I've now removed Linux as a supported platform.

I recommend using .zip file type in future games just because many people won't have a .7v extractor installed. Nice game though.

Developer

Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to do so in the future.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, took a little getting use to the controls but once I was off, I was flying up the hill.

That's great to hear, thanks for trying it out! :)
