Fun game! It's very hard though and i'm not very good at video games so i didn't get too far. Great job though.
I do like the story behind the game! And I think this is a good start, well done with getting a game loop, art and music done in such a short amount of time :)
nice job that you finished the game, however I think it could be improved in some ways
1. The player feels slippery this is most likely because you used Input.GetAxis() in stead of Input.GetAxisRaw() which turns the vector 2 to (0,0) when the player stops holding a key.
2. The screen size is too small which causes you to not be able to sees the asteroids before getting hit
3. It would be nice to get a main menu or some hightscores in to make the player have a reason for playing.
Other than that the game was not bad specially for one which was made in less than 48 hours
Congratulations for finishing your game. But you still have much to learn.
1. There is no feedback when you get hit. That's a big must have!
2. The characters are to "slow" to control, it was way to hard to dodge the incoming rocks.
3. The camera was to close to the player, you couldn't see the rocks fast enough.
The music and the art itself were good, I liked those. Also the theme was nicely implemented.
Thank you for the feedback! i meant to add an animation for death, but i couldn't figure it out

It's very confusing that you don't get any feedback when you get hit until it just restarts a few seconds after. I like the theme of the game though.
nice art and good job
Well don - I like the are - funny game
I quite like the artstyle and the color palette! The music is pretty good, but in terms of audio some sound effects would've added a nice touch, as would maybe one frame of "being killed" after an asteroid hits a character.
This game has a very simple design, and that's great (and also a great name). I have some issues:
I would highly suggest watching: How to make your game 2X as fun! - (In No Time.) - YouTube this video as it was a great help for my earlier games, and I feel it should help this one as well, if you just give it one watch you should find a few ways to make it interesting
Thank you!
I saw this as a small micro game, as it's design is very simple and straight to the point. It could maybe become some form of dodge pattern in another game?
However, there are some issues with the design at the moment. First, I was always asking myself what the failstate is, is it's not clear what happens when you get hit. Then it's very easy to get cornered with no way to get out. I guess a more gentle hitbox could solve that.
Keep it up dude. The idea is cool, maybe try to focus adding more gameplay and making the characters feel nicer to move. Good effort!
The music was great, and I liked the simple art. I tried to survive to some sort of ending, but couldn't get there is there was one. There was a glitch I kept encountering that made it unfair sometimes, where a character would get stuck on the ground. I think I know the problem, if you were using Unity's tile system. When using hitboxes on the tiles sometimes characters can get stuck on what is supposed to be flat ground, so its better to avoid use the hitboxes on Unity's tileing system, if that is what you used. I liked the game.
Nice concept!
Unfortunately, I couldn't make the brothers reconcile ;)
Keep it up!
cool
Hi @boomerbam the game idea and music was great, the only thing I would say is to make movement a bit faster and smoother.
its a really simple game, and a very nice art style, adding some feedback when the rocks hit the player would be really helpful tho
Art and music was great but needs a bit more polishing.
I think the game should have a counter maybe, to track how long you are alive if it is that type of game.
Looks cool and music sounds good. I didn't really understand what was going on though, what my goal was, and why I kept getting restarted. I think some sort of tutorial would help.
