I love how you tied your strong narrative together with the strategic decision making of keeping everyone alive! My only slight complaint would be that I found it a tad irritating at first that characters would die at full mana points rather than at zero, like it is the case with health point normally, but I adapted quickly. I was very immersed all the way through, well done :)
Thank you so much for playing our game! We tried to make a meter that measures the amount of mana the forest sucks from people in relation to the total mana, but I really agree that a meter that only measures each person's mana would have been more intuitive. Thanks for the feedback!
Fantastic job on all the artwork! I thought surely for a 48 hour project I could go through all the endings, but there's so many! Luckily I got the ending I was after. Really well made! And I agree with Automatree about having checkpoints of some kind. Maybe the story could be divided into chapters you could go back to after you've gotten that far in the game?
Yeah, chapters would have been the best way. We tried to focus on making checkpoints and the skip button, but there wasn't enough time.
Thanks for the feedback and for playing our game!
Kinda wish there were checkpoints or some way to skip dialogue faster, as several choices will instantly kill you, and it starts you back at the very beginning each time.
Yeah man, I feel you. It was the first time we used this dialogue system, so we weren't able to study and implement these functions in time. But anyway, thanks for playing the game!
Tried to play so I could rate it, but I can't figure out how to get the Mac download. It says it works on Linux, Mac, and Windows, but I only saw an exe in the download.
If I was just blind, let me know where to find the dmg, and I'll try playing!
Sory, I saw that Unity build mode for Windows, Mac and Linux requires a build for each. For now, I've only been able to upload the Windows version, but as soon as the competition is over (in 5 days), I'll be uploading the Mac version.
Thanks for the feedback, the page has been modified to show Windows only.
