How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme because it is about a dog who can move but not see and a cat who can see but not move. You have to team up and JOIN TOGETHER to find the pawprint and win the game.

Great concept @CodingCricket, it was and a very interesting idea although I think you can make it much better by updating the art to make every area look different, overall great work mate :D
Yeah, I definitely agree with you! This was my first 42 hour jam so I kept pretty safe and didn't want to start something I couldn't finish. Thanks for commenting!
I won! I didn't figure out how to see the whole scene with my mouse for quite a while and was ready to give up up then I hit mouse square on my laptop and could see the paw print. I wish I would have know that earlier. Cute sprites and and interesting concept with one animal that can't see and the other can't move. Nice game!
Thanks! I'm glad you figured it out!
Very clever and interesting idea! Nice works! Maybe it will be easier to look around if locking the rotation to Y axis only?
Great point! Thanks for commenting!
The concept has potential but the execution wasn't quite there sorry. Some more detail in the level to give you a better sense of where you are, and better controls in the 3d view would have made all the difference here. Having some sort or hazards like enemies or traps would have made it more challenging too as I found myself just resorting to moving in a grid pattern checking the 3d view every so often to get my bearings.
Yeah, if I had enough time I would definitely of changed some things, but I didn't want to try and do something hard and then realize It would take too long. Also, though I might of made it so the cat is always facing the dogs location, I feel like then the dog view wuld be more like a map and a little less important, and also lose the fact that the dog is blind. Thanks for commenting!
Definitely a very cool concept. In practice, I got frustrated trying to get the dog to the pawprint because even though I could see it several times, I was still not sure whether the cat was on the dog (and that's why the cat's perspective relative to the pawprint changed) or which way it was facing relative to which way the dog was facing (or whether that was relevant). No matter what I did I didn't seem to be able to get to it or understand the relative positions of the dog and cat.
Even so, this must have been really difficult in this short time, good job! Cheers.
Thank you! Yeah I have said this before but the main reason why I kept the cat to not rotate the dog was because I wasn't sure if I should because that would make the dogs purpose a little less, and it wouldn't really give the sense that the dog is blind as much, and feel more like the dog is on a map. The main strategy is to go back and forth between the dog and cat and keep checking where you are. Thanks for leaving a comment!
I like the concept. It's fun but my mouse cursor was not locked to the screen which made the first person looking around difficult.
Yeah I thought having it rotate freely would make it feel more realistic so that is why I did it. Also thanks for commenting!
This concept is interesting! Good job! :D
Thanks!
Cute idea with a lot of potential.
Was a bit hard to navigate and know in which direction I have to move but I enjoyed how original it was. With more polishing, and like comment below me said about multiplayer, this has great potential!
Thanks for commenting! And the main problem was just the amount of time I had.
Very interesting idea !
I had a tough time to understand that the dog do not rotate, but, there's a lot of potential in your idea. With more complex environment, it could be really cool. And maybe a multiplayer where cooperating is the key to victory !
Thanks! I would definitely of made this more polished if I had another day or 2. Also the multiplayer is a really good idea! Maybe it would be a split screen game where someone controls the dog and the other person controls the cat! Thanks for commenting!
Creative game concept.
But unable to play.. when switch to cat camera got struck at looking sky, fully blue..
may be a tutorial.. mini map etc might help players
Try reloading the game. That bug has not occurred at all to me. Thanks for commenting!
Nice game! As other said, a bit of level-design would help a lot, but that's an already good game overall.
Thanks so much!
Neat concept! Obviously unpolished, and tbh I didn't find it very fun (a little frustrating), but with improvements like a lot of these other comments have, I think you could make this into a very fun puzzle game.
Thanks
If this concept gets some polishment, it could turn out a really fun puzzle game! Very creative!
Thanks!
The controls are a bit confusing but it's a great idea and very cute~
Yeah if I had enough time I would of made them better. Thanks for commenting!
I like the concept a lot :) and the little furballs are ADORABLE. if I may make just a few small inconvenient suggestions,
1.transfer the 1, 2 switch view keys to the mouse?
2. possibly increase the cat's view range! (the poor cats probably flexible enough to see around it)
but don't get me wrong, its a great concept! And a bit more work would make this real fun :)
Thanks! I Was thinking of switching the 1 and 2 buttons to mouse buttons but for some reason I didn't. Thanks for the suggestions and leaving a comment!
Those animals are so cute!
I like the idea, I'd maybe add a wider field of view for the cat. I did make it home though :)
Thanks!
Really cool concept
Thanks!
