This game needs to be expanded, the concept is really good! I like that the moving blocks block the fire, you have to think of a strategy to progress. I was curious to see what would be the next mechanics! The art is also very good. Good job!

Really interesting puzzle game here. Reminds me a bit of crypt of the necrodancer in tone but the mechanic seems like it could open up to some diverse and interesting challenges with using the fire as a wild weapon against enemies and giving you some additional items or tools to control a fire a bit. Really great little game - I reckon if you polish it up, add some more art and animations for some juiciness and some more mechanics and levels and you've got yourself a little indie hit here.
Thanks, yea I was loosely inspired by the game for the style. Thank you! Yea got a lot more planned for a post-jam version! some of the ideas i had was having water tiles and buckets that give you the chance to remove some. Be sure to follow if you wanna know when I post the next version of it!

This was super fun and really fit the theme well, imo! A bit simple (and definitely could use a bit of music) but there's always time to expand after the jam :) Well done, and a solid game with good use of the theme!

Fun game, but quite short. I quite liked the last level in which you really needed to think about your movement. The other levels were pretty straight forward. Though, I would've liked some more sfx's.

This was a blast. I really enjoyed playing it. I wish it was a little longer to play with more mechanics. I also think it could have used with some background music. Other than that, absolutely fantastic work.

I really like the pixel art and the concept of blocking fire with moving tiles. The movement feels a little bit unresponsive but for a jam game it overall feels like a complete game. It's a pity you did not have more time for level design tho. Great job!

Love the fire take on the theme! I could not tell how the fire spread was happening, so my play was more try-and-error than planning and strategy. The step noise was strange when it got louder as your progress in the level. Cool graphics though!
Thanks! Yea its literally just spreading to every adjacent not fire tile but something to indicate where its going to spread is probably useful. Aha yea it gets louder as each new fire tile you spawn makes the noise so by the end of the level when youre creating like 10 it plays it ten times at once
This is a really well-executed concept. The fire gets out of control very quickly and ramps up the stress as you move through a level. Well done!

I don't like puzzles very much but this one is very interesting and accessible, the progression of difficulty is balanced and makes it clear how the mechanics work. Very good game, congratulations!
Thank you! Yea I think puzzle games might be a bit difficult for jams as you cant spend a lot of time on making the puzzles exactly right
