Hey, first of all, let me say that I liked and at the same time didn't like the art! (well, let me explain better). The art itself and the style are awesome. The WOLF is so cool, the design is very memorable and impressive. Also, after Stephen King's "IT," the yellow raincoat is associated with horrors for me ahah, so it was a nice coincidence to make the experience better (since the wolf eats the character as Pennywise). But what I didn't like are colors. The character's coat yellow coat and the bridge are too similar to each other. It kind of distracted me from playing. But overall, the concept is interesting, the premise is catching. It's sad you weren't able to expand the game more and it was too short without explaining anything. Hopefully, you will keep it up!
Hello AtymTima Games! Thank you so much for the comment! Haven't seen IT yet :D
I would love to have the main vibe stay the same, since many people seemed to like it.
Would you suggest a more saturated Yellow or an Orange?
thanks again!
I would prefer the second option just because dark elements make the characters stand out more. Not sure if I'm completely in love with this tone of orange, but I like that you changed the bottom from the light green to something dark.
Though, it my be just my preference. Hopefully, you will be able to get more opinions about that :) I would suggest to try some combinations of complementary colors, though. They usually work really well together. If you have more questions, I will be glad to answer them!
Hey Spoonsweet!
I would like to commend you on great artwork and animation. The controlswitching was a fun challenge aswell. Kudos to Hart for cool music. Definetly will check out.
I think my constructive thought is giving me a sense of urgency to finish the level, I could potentially wait out the lightnings until i get the controls I'm used to. Also add success feedback so i understand i beat the level not just restarted at the beginning.
Keep up the good work!
If you have time I would love it if you could try my game and give feed back. Its called Drone.
Thank you for the feedback and the kind words, I'll try my best to improve on them!
Love the art! Aesthetically pleasing for sure. I'd love to see this idea expanded - there's not a whole lot different between level 2 and 3 except for the rate of lasers. Some additional art to show you feeding the wolf (?) would also be welcome! But great otherwise!
Thank you BearHunter! These are fantastic ideas! I will use them to enhance the game, so I can show it to you again when its done :D
Good luck! Excited to see where this project goes! Really love the art!
It's a shame the core idea couldn't be expanded more for time limitations.
The art is great and so is the music!
Thank you so much LuisEscobar! If I manage to do more, I will let you know!
Well done. Really like the art and music
The art, music and controls fit the game perfectly, not too frustrating but not too easy at the same time. Like others have said it's a pity it breaks at level 3 as I could have seen myself playing this all day.
Will definately be keeping an eye on this one for updates once the jam is over, really fun game.
Thank you so much for checking it out!
Wonderful colour scheme, great music, and simple to figure out! Not nearly as frustrating as other games that switch your controls hehe. Well done :)
Love the art presentation and music.
It seemed like the changing controls were on a cycle where every third hit your controls would be back to normal. I like that little feature for giving the player a little bit of a break in barrage of lasers.
It's a shame it gets stuck at level 3 as it has promise and I really wanted to see where this game went!
I love the art style in this game! The models are georgeous and the camera works really well. The music is really nice too (though the change of pace from first level to next levels was a bit sudden).
The laser beam jumbling the movement was neat but felt a bit too frustrating on the third level. I really liked the time jumps used to show the wolf was gaining strength. With a longer gamejam, it would have been nice to see more models of the wolfs growth and maybe a few more abilities he gains to make you lose control.
Overall this was a beautiful entry though, great work!
The art is really cool. Loved the representation of the wolf!
This game makes me go YES!
great job! really suites the theme, also it "clicked" in my mind when I read - "I have to feed the wolf again..." :D okk
The wolf looks awesome! :D
I like the art! Too bad you can't get past the third level.
The whole art and music really fits the mood. Nicely done!
Really enjoyed the art style! It's a shame I didn't get to play the rest of your game due to the bug.
Also, is the player feeding herself to the wolf??? How dark :')
Good job regardless of the bug! Nicely polished game
This was mega radical. I it took me a second to figure out how you were changing the controls but once i did, it wasn't so bad. I couldn't tell if the laser was actually pushing me or if i was just mashing the wrong buttons. Also, really like the tone change :D
I love this art style and it's delightfully weird. Also ... dat beat drop.
Oh this was fun! Shame I couldn't get past level three but I enjoyed it!
If I had a three eyed wolf head the fired lasers at me i'd probably feed it forever too! Great game, the concept is fun and the control changing is just enough to makes the game challenging but no to much to so that it's frustrating. The art all looks wonderful and really fits together nicely with everything. Good entry and good luck!
