I liked the effect when the discs hit something! The level was way too big, though, I spent ages just walking around waiting for something to happen - then I got hit from behind... It looked great, though - audio was brilliant!

I like the look of the animations and how the game pixelizes! Good job!

I liked your duck sound. A funny suprise. I set my eyes on the handmade looking 'how to play' instruction. Also a funny idea. Good job on the audio, well done. I coulnd't stop listening to it.

I think you have a strong core for this game. I would urge you to consider the following:

  • Add SFX for the Ballz! It would make them even more threatening if you can hear them coming up behind you.
  • Add SFX for taking damage. I like the pixelation to show the player health depletion, but this would be reinforced and made juicier with a sound cue.
  • Add more levels/add more dynamic elements to the levels (e.g. moving platforms, hazards, level falls apart as you go on -- just let your imagination run wild!)
  • If you're going for an unsettling aesthetic, really lean into it. Make the Ballz hideous. Make the level grotesque and monolithic. Make the gun unsettling. You could make something that really puts folks on edge in a good way.

All things considered, y'all did a good job. Keep it up!

I loved it! Though I think the colour scheme of the game should definitely be something different.

Well done! you made a pretty dang good FPS in 48 hours and it works well. Fun to explore and I love the saw blade bullets. Wasn't sure if the gas was just to kill me or if it was why my controls got flipped sometimes. Well done. LOL the quack in the intro.

Please check our little game our when you have a moment.

the gameplay was really interesting to be honest... however sometimes i get "bite" from some enemies that i can't even see when im rotating, then i have to walk backwards rotating to see if appears around... and also makes no sounds so i don't have any idea where they can be... sometimes the map feels like a big empty map, and you can't find enemies, but they always manage to appear right behind you without you even notice it.

i didn't like the art however.. the color scheme, it was like you tried to make the game boy palette, but isn't using its 4 colors, is just like you applied some shader to look uglygreen-ish... felt inconsistent

Well Isnt that funny, here's a question for you ( do all that 2D animation sheets and do all the SFX and do all the programming within the 48 hours and also make the particle effect and don't forget about the post process too and also dont forget about making 3D models with the right topology and baking them from highpoly to lowpoly , as well as making UVs and texturing them all that within the 48 hours remember.

then come here and tell them that the art is ugly and you didnt like it and  i dare you xD
