Simple idea, really effective execution! I feel like my dino could reach people it wasn't supposed to reach due to weird hitboxes, but it's nothing that took me away from the fun I had. Rated!
Very cool game, the music is perfect, it makes it so thrilling. I really appreciate that you gave the dino 8 directions - as the star of the game that is a good choice in my eyes. The dino speeding up is what made the game actually fun i think. The players competence in controlling grows, so this puts it to use well and keeps a challenge, while also giving a feeling of much improved "player performance". Chomped 405 guys :D

Thanks a lot! The 8 Directions Animations really took me a lot of time and energy and I still had to rush through it, I'd like to improve it further in the future.
I also want to focus even more on the speeding up mechanic, it was a simple tweak I made a few hours before the end of the jam, but I've had a lot of people wanting to go even faster, with even more people to eat and bigger maps! I will also fix the Dino's hitbox to make it easier to eat people without just going through them, and I had someone give me the idea of having security guards shoot sleeping darts that slow you down, which I think would make the whole experience more enticing than a timer.
Excellent points! Bigger hitbox sounds good, missed a few guys i expected to eat. The timer is fine for the jam, but i agree that it could be improved - after all you have little time to watch the timer, thus it builds little tension. So a in-map solution to end the game would be good. Also, jumping down from ledges :D
It could also be interesting to have someone (like a jeep with the sleeping dart boys) chase you and you using your big legs to jump on the ledge, where the jeep will not be able to follow thus making some time for you. Though i am sure it is difficult to balance and make feel right.
Really fun well made! I love how the dinasour moves faster with each human you eat (or crush I can't tell which is happening exactly)
Technically eating them, I'll make an animation to show it happening once the Jam is done!

I really enjoyed the mechanic and the direction you are taking the game, I think if you flesh it out and add more obstacles for the player to fiddle with it would make the game alot more entertaining and fun to play :D overall I enjoyed eating humans..... (jk)
Good fun game with good audio and graphics. Battling the timer by trampling the people with an out of control T-Rex fits the theme nice. I thought game and graphics looked great too. Would be cool to see this with the people trying to run away but come back to shoot you with the dart gun to slow you down and/or decrease the timer. Nice work for 48hrs on your own and your 1st jam.

This is a nice game to play ^^ good job ^^ the music is good for setting the feeling and the art looks really nice ^^ I also liked the GMTK pixel art or tile art or world art ^^ what do they call that ^^ nice easter egg ^^
The art was lovely and had a nice vibe to it! There was great deal of out of control in the dinosaur and the feedback made things really satisfying!
This is a good one. :D I liked how the dino became faster after eating the humans, and also the fact that speed doesn't always result in a more ideal gameplay. Good old Carmageddon wibes. :)
Thanks, that really was a late decision that helped the fun aspect of the game, and I've had some feedback asking for even more people to eat, have the madness go even further beyond :D
The art and animation is really cool.
First of all, the gameplay is really addicting :D you could make it way more fun if there was more things to eat(not only people). but the idea is cool, and i love the art. Well done :D

This was surprisingly fun. Played it a few times and got a bit better each time. I was frantically mashinf wasd trying to gobble people up while my t-rex skated around like a maniac. Good job!!
