I love the difficulty of this game, there's a nice difficulty curve and it's easy to jump back in again every time I failed (which happened a lot :P). I loved the "juice" as Mark would call it, the particles and sound effects were amazing!
I thought the gameplay mechanic was pretty creative, and the different colors made it very easy to figure out. Very good aesthetic design! I liked the art style as well, it looked good to my eyes :)
Also the music! Nice job! I love video game music, and I really like your take on it. I'm going to have that theme stuck in my head for a while, it's so cool! Good work for making all the gameplay, art, music, sound effects, and an amazing project overall in just 48 hours on your own! This is my first game jam too, and I love seeing that I'm not the only one who did it solo :) If you wouldn't mind, could you rate my game as well? I found this game on Discord and thoroughly enjoyed it :)
Fun idea. I sometimes got myself into a situation I felt was impossible to avoid and I died, but overall you did well :)
Great submission! Love the UI elements - informative without feeling cluttered. Great use of colours as well, and the explosions feel satisfyingly 'punchy'. Keep it up!
Super fun game! Realy like the mechanics that you can only move to certain directions if others are destroyed!
Nice game! The visual feedback on what controls are gone, and how much you can use is perfect! Had fun playing it, good job!
Wow, surprisingly, as a game this works really well. I was surprised oh much fun I had. I'd say if you polished the graphics and found a way to vary the gameplay a little more, this would actually be a good little time waster. Good job.
I always love to see lefmade art and audio
even more if the fit togather
Had fun playing the game,
Only problem was, when one control went out,
I was unable to get more on that side,
So after not being able to go right, I couldn't get anything on the right side.
was a bit annoying to see something I need on that side
All in all a good game,
Great work and a good fit to the jam.
Great game, got to understand why I couldn’t move anymore on my second try once I figured out the edges were connected to the sides of your ship.
Overall great game
Everything was communicated very well! Alot more polished GUI wise than alot of the other games in the jam!
Polished graphics and gameplay! I had fun playing this, definitely felt out of control. Well done! :)
The game feels pretty fun to play, and I like the graphics.
The ability to use controls is nicely indicated on the character itself, although I thought these were thrusters that push you, not pull. Speaking of indication, I wish these bars were placed somewhere around the parts (engines, gun) themselves, as it's hard to look at the sides of the screen while avoiding and shooting enemies. Also, I think difficulty curve could be a bit smoother.
Overall, great job!
Your game is really cool I like the game play. You should keep working on it! Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new things. Please check out my game when you have time :D
Awesome! The concept is great and the game feels really great when played because of feedbacks like SFX and VFX. Great job!
