Very cool, you came up with a very neat concept.

That's such a cool mixture of base building and shmup! I would love to see this as a full game!

Thanks :) I have started to build on a post jam version, it can be played here: https://etclundberg.itch.io/fling-fighters-2

I enjoyed the game but the theme doesn't really match.

Though it doesn't really feel out of control, I still enjoyed playing it and liked upgrading and unlocking ships :)

Great work. It took me a while to understand the game but it’s fun. I’ve got a score of 36 but have no idea if that’s good or bad lol.

Developer

Yeah, some kind of highscore list or star system to compare score against is a good idea, thanks :)

Fun to play.  Upgrading stuff always hooks me.

Really great work.  I enjoyed discovering the different plane types and laying down buildings.  Would have appreciated wider levels with slower speeds so exploration was more important.

Developer (1 edit)

It would be interesting to add a layer of exploration, maybe I will try that in a different game jam!

Unsettling at first, subtle mechanics and an original score system adds interest to the game later on. I didn't quite understand everything, but I appreciated the depth of this game.
