I really like the visuals in the game + the movement system is really fun. This is a fun little sandbox and I thoroughly enjoyed bouncing around and extinguishing all the fires. Thanks for the game!
Very fun to play with. It's a little tough to know how well you are putting out the fire until it is gone. But even after I put out all the fires I just played around flying myself all over the map. Fun game, nice work!
Great! I like this funny gameplay with the classic video game music.
There are some super cool equipment for firefighter like strong hose and elastic shoes,
I feel much cooler in summer.
I managed to get all the fires extinguished.
Ah the fabled "Shoot to move". Movement controls are a bit funky to get used to, but a solid simple concept nonetheless. Well done
Wait, it wasn't "shoot to move"? Hahaha! Thanks for the feedback! We were pretty pleased with the results for our first go at Unity.
Holy hell this is maybe one of the most fun games i've played from this jam. At first I was like "oh ok so the player is out of control cause they can't handle the hose, not bad" but once I realized you could fly around with it? Game changer. 5/5 for sure. I do wish the hitboxes were a bit more generous since actually getting the water to hit the fires felt like a bit of a chore but that's nothing but a minuscule speck of dirt on this absolute gem of a game.
Hey thanks for the feedback! I'm really glad you liked it!
You're spot on with the fire hit-boxes feedback. As you put them out the fire gets smaller, but so does the hit-box. In hind-sight I think we should have shrunk the particles being emitted instead of the whole object...
I couldn't figure out how to put out a fire but the water particles are a lot of fun to play with, the character movement is super zippy and fun too.
Thanks for the feedback! I wish we had time to add better feedback to the player when they are hitting the fire. You can use the hose to boost yourself into the air to fight the fires better! The size of the fire does go down over time and eventually it disappears, but it also makes the hit-box smaller, which I think added some unexpected difficulty.
I didn't put out a single fire, but I had a great time trying to.
Glad you had fun!

Great work dude! Absolutely love what you came up with, especially in such a time constraint. You made Magic happen...
