the game is very fun and i love the concept too. at once i would just fix  the error but then there just no time i just randomly typing and just ignore the error lol. and nice choice of music too.

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah, the errors are an optional challenge. I think the error correction gameplay could be more fun, and the errors could be more interesting, too. Maybe I’ll build on the concept later :) Glad you liked it!

Very funny concept, really clever. I think if you include some decision about which keyboard presses you have to use, it could strengten the gameplay, as right now there is no concious choice the player is making in his typing, he is just button bashing as fast as possible until an error pops up. But all in all very fun. I liked the presentation and the music too, great work!!

Developer

This is really good feedback. I kind of wanted the "cartoon secretary" / "90's action movie hacker" style of mindless typing experience, but some more depth would be good. In fact, if you hit the same characters repeatedly, you will get way more errors, so variety is rewarded!

That was fun! The music really fits the goofy theme too. It's pretty stressful though, at some point I'd just ignore further errors and type that damn letter x)

Developer

Yeah, I decided to make it an optional challenge. (or rather, I didn't bother to program a proper failure state haha). Glad you enjoyed it! I personally found it very interesting from a storytelling perspective, too.

That was hilarious, I love how you have to keep typing for the music to continue playing, and how frantic is becomes typing as fast as possible and going back correcting errors. It's a simple yet very strong concept, great job on this game!

Developer(+1)

Much appreciated! Glad you had fun! Maybe I'll work more with this concept in the future!

enyojed it a lot. really funny

Developer

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

This was great fun to play, I had an absolute laugh when I realized how to play. No real criticism apart from stuff you're probably aware of already, like being able to read the letter after finishing and the text overflowing the paper sometimes.

The music was a fantastic touch!

Developer

Thanks, Kenjoku! I'll make sure to release an updated build that addresses some of those UX issues ;) Glad you enjoyed it!

I mashed my keyboard a whole lot. My roommate thought I was crazy. No regrets.

Developer

Haha, you did it right!

the moment I realize about what the game was and how it should be played I laugh out loud for whole minute while smashing the keyboard with my cat pawns

Developer

Exactly as this game should be played

Cool idea. I've just typed as fast as I can

Developer

And this is just a proto-type! (Get it? Proto-type? Like, cause it’s about typing and it’s also super roughly made? Hahahahahahh)

Submitted(+1)

This is a really cool idea! Looks great too. Awesome job :)

Developer

Much appreciated!

You really should of called the game something else. I expected something a lot worse. I really enjoyed the game, and the music was a perfect match.

Developer

Yeah, that’s a good point. It’s not as meme-y as the title suggests! Glad you liked it!

Nice idea, very good feedback with both audio and visible typing mistakes, it felt very natural to find the correct keyboard smashing rhythm.

Developer

Thanks!

Like the idea. The game and the graphics came out quite well. Overall it was a decent game and a good effort.

Developer

Thank you!

This was an accurate simulation on how I program my jam games. Very effective horror game, nice job.

Developer(+1)

Pretty much describes how this game was written, too! Facerollers unite!

Actually playing this "correctly"- like backspacing when there's something wrong (as opposed to just smashing your keyboard) is actually very difficult to do quickly haha

Developer(+1)

Now YOU can get to experience what it’s like to be inadequate!

This game really wants the DreamWorker in me to Ogre-achieve. ;)

Developer

Don’t get too shrekcited!

What a unique, shek-cellent game! Who knew mashing your key- i mean writing, could ever be this fun?

Developer(+1)

Somebody once told me that writing could be fun, but I aint the sharpest spoon in the jam.

Fantastic game, Very liberating. I was never able to get my words per minute above 80 on school essays, but this game does the trick! Brilliant!

Developer(+1)

Who knew that smearing your face all over the keyboard would do the trick?

Submitted(+1)

I’m ogrewhelmed with the sheer oniony goodness of this. Really makes you feel like Shrek 10/10

Developer

Thanks! I’m flattered, but you’re just not my type(writer)....!
