Nice game! I just had one problem... the window was too small on my screen and I couldnt resize it...Game was fun :)

It sounds like you had a lot of fun making it.

Neat game! The controls were nice, but a bit too loose to me. Still, it's a fun and funny game to play.

The voice acting takes it over the top. Epic!

Could you please tell me, how does Russian thematic enrich this game? Could the bear be simply mechanized without pointing to any nationality?

Continue improve your game development skills and next time you will definetly grant more success.

Sometimes, when you're doing a gam jam, you have an idea you like so much that you all go "Yeah, we can squeeze this into the prompt." That's not a criticism in my book, it's a reality of game jams, but I definitely get the impression that this was more "idea first, justification second" type of deal XD

The game itself is a good idea, both mechanically and thematically. I chuckled! The controls were suitably wonky, though maybe a bit on the too-wonk side for my own tastes.

That aside, if you decided to continue development on this, the single biggest improvement you could make is to make it easier to find campers.  The bear can hone in on campers, and it gets less fun when I just start hearing random screaming accross the map from [runtime error: instance not set]. You've got an arrow that shows you the bear, and one that shows you the helipad, consider adding a third that points you towards the nearest active camp.

p.s. I dunno what these guys are talking about with it being unplayable; it's a Unity game. Install it from itch or just unzip and play.

You need to upload a .zip file.

Developer

Hi Hummus, The  .7z  is a type of zip file you should be able to open it with any zip extractor program. Or just install through Itch.Io!

Hi Curtis

https://itch.io/docs/itch/integrating/compatibility-policy.html

As you can see, publishing a .zip file is usually better than a .7z as more people can extract it easily. I have also noticed when publishing a game that my .7z files always had fewer downloads as compared to .zip.

Cheers

Yeah looking back on it I have no idea why I didn't just use a .zip but oh well, live and learn. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though!

The download is just one file, a "7z". Not sure how to play it.

Hello there! Not the dev, but I'm on the itch.io app and I was able to  just hit the install button, rather than download.

That said, if you don't have the app, unzipping it (.7z is a kind of zip file) into its own folder and clicking the .exe file should let you play it, since it's a unity game.

Hi dyslexicmelon, The 7z is a type of zip file. Any program that can extract them will work for opening it, such as WinRar or 7-Zip.

Cheers,

Curtis
