This is a very interesting concept for a game that lives up to the title. It could definitely be a full project with more time and a better feel to the weapons.
love the artwork!
Cool game, Congratulations :D played until wave 14 than I got a little bit bored, but still, great game
Really good concept, well executed. I like that the buttons are only randomize once at the start so after you got used to the unusual control you can actually be good at the game. One suggestion I would have is increase the enemy's projectile size, they are too small to be seen atm, and maybe make the enemy have ragdoll/disappear immediately instead of fading out, it was quite confusing at times when I killed an enemy and I'm not even sure if I did. But other than that, a very fantastic game!
Loved the humour in the credits and options menu. Also very interesting feature. One of my favorite games. I ended up smashing all the buttons to attack at wave 13. Great fun! xD
I liked the mechanic of mashing random buttons to see what they did. The art was really good as well.
Felt like playing miniature version on "Magicka" :D .. Great idea!
Thanks for Playing =)
Nice art. I like the idea of having controls randomly assigned a key. It would be nice if after finding an attack key I could see the key behind the attack, but else well done.
Thanks! The cooldown UI gave me a lot of headaches to get working how I wanted it, so by the time I had the idea of adding the corresponding key to the UI, I was honestly too scared to touch it lol. I guess it adds some sort of memory element to the game that you have to try hold onto the abilities you want to use
Hi! In case you missed it, I played and rated your game that you submitted to me on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/678278731
Thanks! Think I had to go like an hour and a half after putting it on the list
great idea!
Thank You!
Mashing my key board is fun I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
good game.
Thanks for playing, I think people seem to develop their own strategy as they figure out their move set, whether that's staying back and using the long distance laser beam, or running straight in and pressing ALL THE KEYS lol. I'm really glad with how many abilities we managed to make in the end.
Pretty cool concept! Nice job!
Thanks for Playing!
Couldn't stop laughing playing this, and I mean that as a compliment! Way to nail the theme!
And yes I did go into the options to see what would be there for controls...
Thank you for playing, we're really happy to hear that people are enjoying our game and I'm glad I got the humour right =)
I actually had fun playing it!
I was confused at the beginning and had to read the description to understand. Also, i wish the enemy projectiles were bigger - I could barely see them.
The main issue is that it's hard to tell if you're pressing the wrong button or is it just the cooldown. Maybe some sound indicators could help with that.
Overall pretty cool game :D
Thanks for Playing and for the feedback :)
I think I just forgot about adding a simple cue for "That ability isn't ready yet" with all the abilities I had to code in the short timespan. Hopefully the cooldown UI can at least tell you if you can use a specific ability if you know for certain what key its on
Awesome concept, really liked how I actually felt out of control.
Thanks for Playing, and I'm glad we hit the theme well. I'm really happy with what we managed to pull off in 48 hours :)
