You left me some sad emotions. Thank you. Artistically beautiful

Oh man i liked this game now, but this is the type of thing i'd be so obsessed with in my younger years.

This is a fun little game. I really liked piecing together the backstory here, particularly when it mentioned that humans are extinct. Good work!

Love the presentation - music and graphics both bang-on theme and really impressive given the time.

I'd be interested to know what software you made the game on? There's some interesting similarities between our submissions gameplay-wise actually, very different styles but both narrative games with randomness and uncertainty thrown in.  Hopefully you get time to check mine out too before the end of the jam?

Developer

Thanks, we used Unity to make the game. All the dialogue content was handled with scriptable objects. TBH it is kind of a silly way of doing things because it makes writing and editing a pain. Normally I use Yarnspinner to do branching dialogue but I wasn't sure if it was allowed for the jam. I will try to check out your game if I have the time. What software did you use?

Really great art style and music! Nice original concept.

Are you REALLY in control of your future or just a passenger in a predetermined universe?

Submitted(+1)

loved everything about it. theme, aesthetic, art, music... my favorite game of the jam so far

did you come up with the concept / meaning of cards yourself, or is it based on an existing system?

Developer(+1)

Thanks. The cards are all original but we took inspiration from Tarot and Lenormand cards. For example "The Man" is based off "The Devil" from Tarot and "The Prey" is based off "Death." Most cards are just interesting symbols that have to do with animals.
