Damn, this game is challenging! It's really fun tho! I like how the player sprite changes with time and how it affects the gameplay. Really clever idea :)

Developer

Thank you for the comment! Happy to hear you appreciate the sprite changing, it took a bit of the jam time to get working!

Great game, really love the idea. Kicked my desk because I turned right before I got into the cage. But this is a really good game, I hope you keep making games. 5/5

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words <3

Sorry for your desk though :p Will probably make the game more forgiving for a post jam update

This game makes me go YES! Great art!

94.05 seconds. Rough, but fair and interesting levels. Super cool take on the jam! A small timer/bar to show where you were in terms of transformation might've been nice, although.. with how quick the levels need you to be I'm not sure I would've noticed one if it actually was there? I love the lil' gameover remarks. "Woo.. you saved the day. Maybe save yourself too though?" or however it went.

Awesome game jam submission! Easily in my top 10 so far.

Thank you so much for the kind words <3

A timer would be a good addition, might see about implementing it in a post jam update!

This was a genius idea! I love the gradual shift and the multiple paths it allows for! Probably the best werewolf themed game I've seen so far, I can even put aside my pride and say it's much better than my implementation of the werewolf idea

Developer(+2)

Thank you a bunch <3

Will be checking out your werewolf game too!

Really fun and challenging, I often lost just before finishing a level but it is a really great game.

Thank you, i appreciate the kind words and feedback!

Very original, I found myself playing more and more levels. The only thing is: I would extend the time that you have on your final form, I found myself losing control right before the cage.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! And you're definitely right, will be one of the first thing i change if i update it.

Great idea. I like how the setup is the same for each level, but the layout of the level is what changes the gameplay. The difficulty ramping is well crafted.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Good setup  for the game, its pretty tough, though it might be the latency so I downloaded it to see more. I really like the level setups, it seems like a good mechanic and well implemented.

Developer

Thank you! I spent quite a bit of time adjusting the levels, so good to hear it paid off!

Just to be clear, you had latency problems in your browser that disappeared when you downloaded? If that's the case, i gotta start recommending people to download instead of playing the web version.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, by a little bit, it may have been my browser, but this time I was able to get through the whole game!

Developer

Thanks for the reply, and happy to hear you completed the game :)

That's a nice game

Some points i have to mention are

-That's a nice speedrunning game

-Moving is kind of wanky because you can't control your character (before you grow legs)

-Never start the game when you put it on web (Never)

Else that's a very good game

for 2 days that's a very nice game

Very good experience

Can you test my game too? Thanks :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words and feedback, it's very useful! Also tested your game :)

Very hard game but great execution and it captured the theme of the game really well!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words!
Would you say it's too hard/unforgiving, or just difficult?

Submitted

I would say it's very challenging, which makes it just the right amount for ambitious people. For me personally it was a little bit too hard maybe :D

Wow, nice game! At first I thought that the whole game will be the first level. I'm glad I was wrong.

However, the texts - mainly in the first level are just so long that if I read them I run out of time. Even though they are pretty short sentences. Maybe you could have been even more generous with the time on the first level?

Also, the controls are not as snappy as I would like them to be. But don't get me wrong here, it didn't feel bad to control the character, in most cases it felt good. But, sadly, there were some tighter jumps, in which just didn't feel that great.

Overall it was a pretty good game and it was very original! I had a lot of fun playing it!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Good point about the timer for the first level, should probably have removed it for the tutorials sake.

Also about the snappyness, just curious, which part did you find not snappy? Was it just too tight jumps, latency, the dash uncontrollable, or something else?

Submitted(+1)

The part where I needed to jump on blocks on the same side. Maybe the hitbox felt too big, or something, but there I fell down way too many times.

Developer

Thanks! That is super useful!
