How does your game fit the theme?
My approach was to try to take away things that are used to be in control of the player: the capability to jump, the aim, and also added RNG so it feels a little more "chaotic". The player can only run and shoot their hook but they take the risk and can die trying.

Great core idea, maybe doesn't need the random explosion mechanic as well as the random aim, and the crosshair could stay on screen the whole time - but with some tweaking this has real legs!

Some really nice stuff going on here. Definitely could use some tweaking and maybe rethinking certain mechanics, e.g. if the aiming is totally random, does there really need to be a random possibility of death with each shot? Seems a tad capricious ;-)

Oh, and I would love a shorter transition to respawn after death, as... death... well, it's frequent. In any case, nice work!

This is super original and cool - but I would maybe add a way to cancel the grapple instead of having to wait if it's clearly not going to go where you want it to. It would also be nice if there were multiple ways to beat a level - since it's random, you don't want to have to wait for the one position you need. Great concept!

The random grappling hook was so much random, I couldn´t clear a level because it didn´t go up. It is a really nice game, I liked the art very much. Good Job.

Great game but the grapple was so random as to be unplayable at times.
I would suggest  letting the player aim in the general vicinity and then have it fire off at a random angel with some wicked recoil or something.  just so the player has some say in the matter and it becomes a challenge as apposed to a waiting game

Interesting concept, but it is quite hard since you have absolutely no control over the grapple hook. It was managable until the part pictured below. Especially the part on the right is nearly impossible. Perhaps you can make the grapple hook more intelligent, since it now seems to move randomly.

Had the same issue on this level. My crosshair and grappling hook seemed to be locked to the left part of the level. It was not anymore going up or right from the character.

The art's nice and I like the animation of the crosshair going around. Some fun levels and an interesting concept!

Great Work. I had some issues with multiple cursors showing on my screen. It may of been from me pressing space just as the timer had ran out. Other than that, its a nice platform. The randomness was a bit much so i found myself just pressing space over and over without actually grappling to get it in the right location.

I think I made it to the end! It was fun, but maybe a little too random. There was a lot of pressing space bar and waiting for the target to be in the right quadrant

I had a lot of fun with it when I got accustomed to the mechanic. I did feel a sense of being out of control, but it felt like I slowly established a relationship with that feeling which oddly made me more in control.

Cool concept, and a really nice artstyle. I think that the gameplay could be improved in later versions, since it could sometimes be frustrating if the target went off the screen. Maybe it would have been better to have a random direction on the little character rather than a random point? Also, I found the clicking noise when your grapple a bit distracting. However, I liked the puzzleyness of it, and it was something you had to think in a very different way to most platformers I've played.

Interesting concept. Perhaps you could bias the randomness to help the player a bit? Other than that great game.

What a creative concept, and great art! The puzzles were tricky and the movement was snappy and fun. Since the grappling hook always shoots the full length, making the cursors appear the same distance to the player might help gameplay. The cursor going off screen made game play a little difficult, but still super fun.

Super cool game concept! I like how it still feels like a fun puzzler despite the lack of control. As others have mentioned, the RNG could use some tuning because certain areas just involve waiting around for the crosshairs to move to the right spot. Still a very fun game!

I enjoyed this. I think with some tweaks to the rng, or maybe just keeping the cursor on screen as others have mention, this could really work as a polished game. I'd also like if the spike hit boxes were just a teensy bit more forgiving.

Interesting idea, but it gets a bit tedious waiting for the right crosshair. Also, sometimes when choosing a crooshair, instead of shooting the hook it just spawned another crosshair, which I thought was odd.

Great entry that fits the theme, the game is fun and challenging. The game would be perfect if the curser always stayed in the screen. Great Job!

good game made the player control out of control without using things like broken control
