I think this is really clever, I like the style and graphics of it and it sticks to the theme, it's also really addictive and stands on its own merit as a great game! Good job! :)

Yay, I really liked this one! Good concept and execution, charming graphics and dialog, very polished! The only thing I didn't like were the controls. Having a german keyboard, the letters x and y are very far apart, an alternate control scheme would be nice.

This was brought up by a streamer earlier and I totally didn't think about other keyboards! So sorry! I think this game would honestly work better with controller input anyways! Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked it!

Gosh, it was soooo hard!
I liked the concept but I suck at it, it seems. ^^'

Anyway, I think you did a very great job, using the theme like that. And it feels polished, too.

Wow this was excellent! I love the single-use dash/jump mechanics, and the resetting and time-stop portions are also excellent. It's incredibly satisfying to bounce, jump, and dash all in a chain with coin resets in between.

It felt a little tough for me to consistently perform an action right out of time-stop. For example, it felt difficult to freeze time, then choose "Jump", and then actually jump immediately afterwards (often times I would dash instead). This happened to me a lot on the "Coin Reflexes" level.  know this is just my fault for being bad, but I think this is tied to the fact that the "change power" button  while time is stopped is the same as the "Use power" button when time is moving.

All that said, I really like this game. It's very satisfying to play, and the levels are all crafted in a way that feels really fair and tests all aspects of the design. Great work!

I 100% agree! The controls for the ability menu needs some polishing. I think this game would work better with a controller in hand. Changing abilities with shoulder buttons would flow SOOO much better! Thanks for checking it out though! Glad you enjoyed it! I'm going to go check yours out too!

Pretty challenging game, but made very well, nevertheless, there are some things which you can improve. Firstly, some tutorial messages are too long and contain to much text, use simple schemes and short sentences. Secondly, work on the difficulty curve, the very first ability is really difficult.

I couldn't agree more! I spent a little too much time fleshing out controls that the level design suffered a bit. Also by the time tutorials were needing to be made, there wasn't much time left so I had to do a bit of a rush job (hence the long letter at the beginning haha)

That was the best game I've played so far. Congratulations! It was very hard, yet satisfying and fair most of the times. I've finished it with 138 deaths. That's Celeste levels of bs, hahaha!

Anyway, the things I think should have been improved: the movement is mostly fine, but I think the acceleration (if there is any) is too high. You can't do fine movements, and the first poison level feels a bit unwieldy because of that. Secondly, the falling speed is too high. The levels where you don't know where you're falling into and rely on reflexes are a bit too stiff because the slime falls too fast and you can't react on time. That pause mechanic to swap abilities helps a bit with that, though I still think it should've been lower. Lastly, doing blind jumps in a platformer is a sin in my opinion, hahaha. If you had more time to react, it could be fine, though. Or maybe just zoom out the camera and make each level fit the screen?

Anyway, that's a great game. My highest rated one. Good job! My game was also a puzzle platformer, though much more focused on the puzzle aspect, and you can't die. Try it out if you can, you could teach me and my friend a thing or two about making platformers.

I agree with every point you made! I didn't like the few blind jumps I had at all but it was getting down to the wire and I left them in so I could flesh out the rest of the game. I also thought about clamping the fall speed but I didn't have time to flesh that out either so I left it alone. If I decide to take this game further I will absolutely fine tune the controls! Thanks for taking the time to let me know your honest opinions! I'm going to go check out your game as well! Just from the pic it looks really cool!

Made it to the end in 91 deaths, this game is hard. The level three shots was probably 50 of those deaths lmao. Game controls really well and it only took a few minutes to get used to the swapping mechanic. I like how the enemies use the same abilities as you do. Fantastic game overall, nice work man!

Smoooooooth as butter, man! leaving you a quick rating, and going back to play it. It's very hard, I've died 109 times so far. Great tutorial as well. the mechanics are explained well, and you have to perform your understanding of them to progress. Nice job overall, probably the most polished game I played from this jam so far.

Very charming platformer! Would love to see even more cool abilities,as there are only a few right now. Perhaps a low-gravity ability, to make you fall slower? Overall good game!

I absolutely wanted to explore more abilities! I actually had another already implemented that I had to cut that gave the  character sticky abilities to cling to moving platforms or stone slimes. Didn't have enough time to make puzzles based around them. Glad you liked it!

I'm not very fond of side scrollers but, I had fun playing this. The ability concept was really cool.
