Salute to a fellow Godot user! This game is super polished, great job! Would love a longer game, as well as more incentive to move. Apart from that though, a great jam entry.

The needle is intensely satisfying. Really cool!

I agree with Elastiskalinjen that the best strategy was to stay behind cover. Maybe a nice solution would be that if the needle got stuck in walls if you miss your aim or when it returns at the end of the timer, you'd have to retrieve it by hand.

Really cool style and the core mechanic is fun.  Definitely want to see this one expanded into a bigger, deeper game!

I really liked the trail behind the needle. I found it pretty satisfying to play with the needle in an empty room.

Fantastic idea, I'd love to see this expanded upon!

Really great work! Like the style and how it all feels! Would love to see some risk reward system, as for now the best tactics is to hide.

wow! I really liked it! =) I think a good idea is that you could make the enemys more challenging because the weapon is pretty powerful

A very good game, I love the idea, but I think it could be even better with some sort of magnetized foe, because sometime you nearly touch them but don't and it's a little bit frustrating but except for that , congrats it's one of the best I've played so far :)

This was really fun to play!

It's easily one of the top games I played for this jam.

Hey, we made a godot game too. Check it out!

Could see this as a "dungeon crawler" or just with elements of procedural generation.
Absolutely love it.

P.S: The web version is "bugged" as the player doesn't take damage at all.

Good design, but why is health doesn't change? It's cool that mages go away from player, visuals and sounds are pretty good, full adherence to the Theme, I liked it.

This game has wonderful mix of a strong core mechanic and great presentation. This is brilliant entry.

Great you can also reroute the needle a bit. This good be even better as a randomized dungeon crawler. Anyway good entry one of my favs!

Yondu would be proud. Aesthetic is fantastic, concept is brilliant. Controlling the needle is a bit finicky (it felt a bit better using a controller but still kinda difficult to control) but otherwise an excellent submission to the jam. Congrats!

I feel legit shame at how good this game is. Awesome work. I would really like to play a long game of this on the switch with some story elements and some old school item progression.

Wow! I think this is my favorite entry so far. You guys have done a great job!

Design [5/5]: The first 5/5 I've given for this jam. The design is brilliant. Throwing the needle is fun even when there are no enemies for you to hit. I love that you can keep walking around while your needle shoots out in the direction you sent it flying in. I love the enemy designs. The wizard especially is a worthy and engaging opponent to fight against. The level design is great, each battlefield offering something different. My only complaint is that in the fourth room with enemies, the game starts you immediately next to a sword guy who comes swinging at you, which felt a little unfair. Overall, well done! I'd love to see this game more polished and fleshed out.

Adherence to the Theme [5/5]: It's a twin-stick shooter with only one bullet. Nice job!

Originality [5/5]: I have never seen a combat mechanic like the needle in this game. It was a breath of fresh air.

I'd love to see you guys work more on this game. I don't know if this is the direction you're going with it, but I'd love to see puzzle-focused levels with non-lethal obstacles in addition to the combat encounters. I could see this game being a Zelda-like if you went that route. Overall, it's just so cool. Bravo!

A really cool and fun idea. I have always wanted to know what Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy feels like. I with the needle would also do some damage when returning. Otherwise the controls feel great especially when you have to attack and move at the same time.

I loved it! I only criticism is that it might be more fun if the needle was a bit faster, maybe even a bit harder to control.

This is so great!  Maybe make the main character a bit more visually distinct from the enemies, particularly when not whistling.

But man, really nice job. Great idea, great music, great art!

This is really good, the game and art go really well together and it was a blast to play. A small nitpick I have is I wish that the character was making some sort of noise when doing their equivalent of Yondu's whistling, though this is a game jam so I can understand why that may have been hard to implement in time.
