I love the concept here. However, actually taking shots is pretty buggy, as the cue often doesn't respond to releasing a charge early, or at all. Also, the circular table means that all the balls just get stuck around the edge, making it a real pain to get them out. I think a rectangular table with a shifting pocket would help a lot.
Nice to see another variation of pool :) The balls feel a bit heavy, but I like the circular table and the general concept.
Fun idea! I like how the hole is changing position after each putt, even though I've to agree with Walaber Entertainment that I'd be much more strategic if one knew where it would move next. And while the circular playing field looks really nice, it makes it too hard to move the balls away from the border. Personally I would have went for a more arcady feel with faster shots, bouncier balls and the ball slowing down shortly before impact. As the physics are not 100% accurate anyways, the strategic route of playing thoughtfully with the least amount of moves seems hardly possible. But I definitely see potential in this concept, it's a clever idea wit perfect scope for a gamejam. Chapeau!

Thanks for the feedback, I've actually already fixed all the issues you mentioned in an upcoming build.
Nice game maybe it would little faster
I like when games surprise you, and when I saw the table spinning it sure was surprising!

Thanks! Your game is pretty good too
I love the concept and enjoyed playing. I'd say that the physics might need a little bit of tweaking and that's about it. Great game :)
I love pool, so this was definitely one I enjoyed. The music and sfx were great too. Did you use plain ol unity physics or did you have to build something that was a bit more "math-y"? Great game
Congrats on the submission!

I took part in the #GMTKJam too: You can play and rate my game here: https://kidando.itch.io/ninja-slicer
I'm glad you liked it, Leon. I just used the default unity physics with a physics material on the balls. Your game was really fun to play too!
nice job! I wish I could control the strength of the shot by how much I drag the mouse, instead of how long I hold the button. Also a hint of where the hole will move next would make the game feel a bit more strategic. But this is a really clever concept, and quite enjoyable as-is.
It don't seems other had this issue, i tried on both chrome and google and the release didn't worked properly, only like 1 out of 15 LMB release actually shot the ball, and the power of the shot didn't reset when the release didn't shoot, so most of the time i had to shot at maximum power by spam clicking which makes the game a whole lot harder to play accurately.
Though the concept is good and beside from that the game is realyl enjoyable, i agree a two player mode would really fit this game
I'm so sorry to hear that. i am aware of this bug, but it sounds like you got it really bad.
Neat little game! I wish I didn't have to wait so long between shots, but otherwise no real complaints. Nice!
this is awesome, way harder than I thought going in haha
Glad you liked it!
This needs a two player option. :-)
Also, maybe an indication of where the pocket will go next ? Right now I don't see how you can plan your shots.
A two player mode is on my list of things to do, I'll for sure play around with that indication idea. Thanks man!
yall better feature my mate 'less u wanna catch these hands 😤
YEAH!
Neat Game! I liked how the hole moved when you got a ball in~ Cool idea! The sounds were a nice touch as well, I thought the physics felt pretty good for the balls, just since the table is round it's hard to get them off the wall. Super good job! Please check out my entry if you have time, 'Only One Arrow' by Neat Games.
Thanks, Neat! Your game was super cute!
Cool concept, felt like the balls could bounce abit more or the hole could be a bit bigger. It was difficult to get them in sometimes. Nice work though
Wow ,this game was super relax to play ,Great Work!
my game doesn't have nearly as much charm as yours though ;P
really liked it super fun game :)
Cheers!
Physics does not really act like pool, but its a neat concept!
Well made. The balls feel a bit slow, maybe decreasing the friction could make the shots feel more impactful.
Thanks for the feedback! I do need to tweak the physics a fair amount, I just didn't want to make the player wait for the balls to stop moving.
