You are really great at making the player feel the way you want them to feel.

Developer

Thank you! Hopefully not too bad of a feeling :)

Actually reminiscent of what we did for the past GMTK jam :D https://chairishgames.itch.io/shot-in-the-dark

Always cool to see other people experimenting with sound oriented gameplay!

If you'd like to see our entry this time around, here's the link: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463231

unrealistic because i managed to kill it without getting bitten

(love it)

Developer

Nice! You are a mosquito slapping master! Thanks for playing

Absolutely awful with headphones on... Great job !

Developer

Apologies in advance! Thanks for playing :)

You... evil... malevolent... diabolical mastermind. Never did I think I'd see a game specifically intended to be painful for a game jam. Despite the fact that I never wanna play this again, this is an absolute stroke of genius.

Developer

muahahaha my plan for world domination annoyance is coming true!

Slapping that insect has never been so satisfying.

Developer

I shall make a horse slapping game next!

Using just one sense to create an intense and relatable feeling was such a smart and inventive take on the theme! Loved it!!

Developer

Thank you!

I give the game up-vote, but the thumbs down for the mosquito

Developer

I would down-vote all the mosquitos if I could :D

LOL, I felt that slap :"D.. That was funny, Great job.

Developer

Thanks! Hope the slap didn't leave a mark :)

I hate this feeling... But the game was great!

Developer

Thanks! Didn't mean to accidentally make something so annoying for a game jam :P

We don't get many mosquitoes around where I live and now thanks to your game I've never been more grateful. Thank you :)

Developer

You are so lucky! Summer time is the worst for mosquitoes around here

"Only One Mosquito" PLAY ONLINE (Browser version)

I've uploaded a web  version for easier access, especially if you are not on Windows or don't feel like downloading.

Also, here's the trailer!

This game really gave me the feeling of having a mosquito close to my ears..
I can tell because here where I live there's a lot of these annoying creatures..

Well, I like your game, simple to play and the feeling was real..
Congratulations on your entry for this gamejam o/

Developer

thank you! I think I have trauma now from the developing this game...

I hate you for this.

But no, ok, let's be real. It was a very cool game! Killed that pesky mosquito! Bold idea to not include visuals, and kudos for that! My first instinct was to say that I didn't feel the "only one" theme, but in adition to the only one mosquito, you use only one of the senses! Good job man!

Developer

Ah I didn't even think about the one sense thing! Thank you so much and apologies again for any annoyance. :)

Submitted

Love it's simplicity!

Developer

thank you!

Wonderfully frustrating.  Atmospheric and to-the-point, and an overall little gem of a game.

thank you! :)
