A well executed concept!Really loved the polish and the juice of this game!

May I know how many levels this game has?

Developer(+1)

It has one level with increasing difficulty , but we can count 10 level of difficulty .

This game was a lot of fun to play. I really liked how the level increases in difficulty by having objects slowly added to it. The sounds and juice of the game is amazing especially when you nail the dude with the cannon. Overall really nice!

Thank you so much :D

The gameplay is original and well polished and juicy! It took me a little while to understand what I had to do, but when I did I had a lot of fun! It was a little annoying that the bullet wouldnt shoot when I went outside of the play area so sometimes I didn't have much space to shoot. Overall a well polished and fun game! Nice work!

Confused the hell out of me at first, but when I got the idea I found it quite enjoyable. The timer is maybe a bit too fast for me, but the mechanic is great. It looks and sounds a bit cranky though, and seems shaky, but that might be due to my computer. All in all, hope you continue work on this idea :)

Super cool concept and game! I liked the level progression, always the same thing, but slightly more complex. I died a lot, to be fair browser didnt perform well, but I pressed on because it was too chill a a game & concept.  All this to learn I was the monster :(

Oh well,  good job! fits theme,is original and well designed all good with me! Oh and the impact?! Amazing!
my game (browser, dodgeball!) if you have the time. :)

Took me a few shots to get used to it, but it was a blast afterwards! That screen tilting after the hit is so satisfying. I liked how the core got expanded upon. I had to play Windows version, because the browser one lagged hard.

Thanks , and sorry for the lags :D

Cool game. I like how you made same one level progressively more difficult by adding obstacles over time.

I like both the graphics and sound effects, and the game feels great to play in general.

There isn't much to complain about :)

I really, really, REALLY liked this game! Levels are also fun to play, and it's very simple, yet very clever and very juicy!! Loved how you gave the player more control by letting them tinker with the speed of the ball. I also loved how the baddies were always chilling on the other side of the screen hahaha. The ending speech definitely resonated with me!

Extremely well done! I'm very glad I played your game; I learned a lot!

If you have some time, let me know what you think about mine (hint: try finishing every level by shooting only once!).

Thank you very much ! I'm happy that you like my game  ,and that you finish it :D

Great use of the theme here! Very well done on the game feel too. Deserved all the stars I have given :) A little bit of input buffering would be nice just to allow you a few frames of miss-click - i.e. if you click 2 frames early, it still counts. Helps it feel more fluid!

Great work! This is an excellent take on the theme. I think others already mentioned, but the web version was almost unplayable for me due to lag (the download version played very smoothly). The juice in this game is amazing (the screenshake and freezeframe upon hitting the monster is excellent).

I know this is just me being bad, but it felt like most of my deaths were due to clicking a little to early (while the bullet was red). It would be awesome if there was a sound effect that played as soon as the bullet turns from red to black, just to make it a little easier to time your mouse clicks.

Awesome job! Again, this is a really cool take on the theme.

Developer

Adding a sound effect when the bullet turns from red to black sounds to be a really good idea .Btw thanks for your feed back :D

The puzzles are very cool and the game feel is perfect!

Maybe it was a little too hard to me to actually target well, but overall the game is really nice!

That was awesome! The screen shake and ending of each level definitely enhance the game. It's also super fun to play, and satisfying every time you knock back the cyclops. Great job!

Pretty addicting game, I couldn't beat a certain level, kept getting hit by the last sawblade after getting across all the lasers and the sawblade in the middle. I must say it's slightly infuriating. I also ran into lag issues while playing, but nothing too major.

I feel like maybe it wouldn't be unreasonable for the ball to go where you point the mouse, but maybe that would be too easy. It's hard for me to shoot a somewhat slow shot and get it where I want it at the same time when shooting in reverse.

Overall, I think it's nicely polished and the feel is there, it adheres to the theme as well as any game could, and it is a very unique idea. So nice work!

Extremely polished in terms of graphics and sound! Really feel the impact  it has when you hit that guy standing between yourself and the gold. Also rotating the level a bit, once you managed to win, adds a nice touch to it. Sadly the controls are not too intuitive and it took me quite a while to figure them out. Next time add a tutorial or at least put a few explaining words on the game's page!
As you used Godot and it should be rather simple: Coul you as well provide a Linux version of your game? As others have already pointed out, the web version becomes quite laggy in later levels. :( Also: How did you like Godot in comparison to GameMaker? Would you use it again in another jam?

My godot game: https://njamster.itch.io/wonkey (playable in browser, not mobile friendly)

Developer

In comparaison to Game Maker I found the Godot Engine exremely powerfull , also he offer a lot of flexibility to your project , also I really liked the GDscript ,It is almost like python wich is an easy and powerfull language .In addition ,Godot is FREE .

Thank you very much for your comment !

Developer (1 edit)

Also I've just added a "how to play" in my web version .

Thanks a lot for your advices .
