This really caught me off guard! What an insanely cool idea and it also kinda fits the theme of the last jam in the sense of "A versus game with only one player" - really clever!
Clever idea!
Taught me some things.
This is a great example of how games can show philosophical concepts through in game mechanics. I really love the originality of this one <3
Awesome idea, very well executed!
I said it before and I'll say it again, this concept was really great. i remember being surprised first playing it as well. i'm also glad you incorporated my tiny idea about canceling out the bullets! wonderful game, keep it up!
oh hi! yes, your idea really helped i think - it adds another dimension to the shooting since you can shoot as protection, and it means spamming shots is even more discouraged than before, so you have to think about how your actions will influence your future. and likewise!
I played a platformer once with a similar concept, it was flippin hard! great stuff man.
here is mine. https://newkryptonite.itch.io/the-lonly
Genius concept perfectly executed with a nice theme. Good job!
This is the most innovative game for this jam I have played so far.
Keep up the good work!
This game is great, I like the way it forces you in to an arms race with yourself.
Wonderful stuff. Creative and enlightening, and very appropriate!
I don't hate the music, either.
This is really amazing. My dad (50+?) says this is awesome! I hope this game makes it to the final 20! It really deserves too.
aww thanks! i'm glad both you and your dad enjoyed
I really love the concept. It fits the theme nicely :)
Great job !
cheers!
Great idea! I actually didn't read too much before I started playing and it took me a little before I realized it was my recording I was playing against, not an AI
ha! i think if i had presented the game differently and never mentioned the central mechanic in the description, most people wouldn't realize that it was their own inputs, so don't feel badly. thanks for playing!
