i like the puzzle part of figuring out what set of steps will get you the sequence you need.  had a few crashing issues but overall good

Developer

Sorry about the crashing! That only just started happening today due to some time related code. (If you never got to parts with items cause it crashed setting your Windows clock back a few days should help)

This is an example of a high-quality thumbnail. Take notes kids.

Developer

I changed the thumbnail back, stop taking notes, kids!

Really like the puzzles and how well you built up the complexity. Introducing new features felt like a good curve as I learnt the tricks to passing each one. Nice work

Please work on this further! Would have loved more levels! Brilliant work, I really enjoyed it.

Not the most intuitive mechanics, but they do make for a solid puzzle game. Well done!

I feel like this is actually an incredibly interesting/fun game!  I'm not sure if it fits into the theme very well, but I'm glad you made it and generally think you did a pretty good job with the concept.

Developer (1 edit)

Well it fits the theme in the way that you have only one step (to complete a task).

personally, I considered it more as "you cannot spend any action not completing a task" while i was playing through the game itself...  w/e i guess

A nice mechanic in a sadly too short game.
Just as i was getting in to the logic and the design it was over.  Really big potential for additional mechanics to expand on what you made here.

Really cool puzzle game! The controls  are a little bit unintuitive at first but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

The game took a little time to figure out, but once i got it the puzzles we interesting and challenging. Cool game!

A very entertaining game! Well done, and the best part - its 1MB! Freaking brilliant.

Technically solid and I like the art style! There's also a lot of content which is impressive for a 48h jam. My main gripe would be that the gameplay isn't very intuitive. Overall really good job!

Really neat concept and an impressive amount of levels! I was just a bit confused by the Walk task, e.g. why it sometimes still shows up as Walk 0, and why some levels use "Walk 1; Walk 1" instead of just "Walk 2".

Developer

Thanks! The difference between Walk1 Walk1 and Walk2 is that you can the first one gives you two tasks you can finish while the second one can only be finished once. And the reason it can go to Walk 0 is that whenever you walk, only the top most fulfilled task gets completed and counted. So a Walk0 is basically a free step you now have left over. (If I continue working on this I'll try to make all of that more obvious in the game itself)

Ah, I see. Yeah those distinctions do make sense. Keep up the good work! :)

Cool idea, and fun game
