the idea is good but the game mechanics seem a bit odd

Submitted

Definitely a unique idea with potential, but it seemed a bit odd that when you shoot a block you can't jump high enough to get on top of it. Instead really the only way to go upwards was shoot at something right in front and then clip to the top of the resulting box, which didn't really feel like what I was supposed to be doing. I think making the jump go a bit higher would fix that.

Good idea. Aiming could use some improvements as it is a huge part of the game.

Good concept, with a lot of potential. I would recommend improving the position of the camera or modifying the level design a little to avoid blind spots.

Cool concept! I liked it a lot, but had a few issues:

* Since you can't rotate the camera (I think?), the parts in the beginning where you had to go behind the tall tower were very awkward.

* It was really hard to tell which side of my cube was the side the bullet would come out of, and even it I did lining it up was really hard. I think shooting in the direction of the mouse would have been better.

* If you die, it respawns you at the checkpoint with 10 shots, but when you reach a checkpoint it doesn't give you any if you have less, so you have to kill yourself.

Those are just some minor nitpicks though, I think with some polish this could be a really fun game!

Thanks for the feedback!

Neat concept! It was kinda laggy but that's probably just because of my snail computer

The game was interesting. However, I really don't see how it fits with the theme. We need to make a game with a core mechanic ripped out. This was less of that and more of a fresh new concept. However, That's both a good and a bad thing so i guess it balances out either way

This was fun, a bit difficult to control, but fun all the same!

Nice game (sorry for my broken English)

Very nice, I would have liked it if it was point and shoot with the mouse, or there was a special signal to see where you shootin' :) Very good job!
