  • This was a very interesting and original game. I'm impressed with how much you were able to get done during the game jam. Here are some suggestions for how to improve this prototype. It wasn't clear where to start digging at the beginning. Especially with the large area of people and agents, I was wandering aroudn there for a while before I figured out I had to go down and start digging. Once I started digging it took me a very long time to find a relic. When I did I it took me a while to realize I had to click and hold on it. I kept trying to just touch it. After I picked it up, I took it above ground and started showing it to people. The first person I showed it to did not believe me and then I was caught before I could show anyone else. For future reference, I suggest whatever game that you make, have it be easier in the beginning. Ease your player into the game. Let them have a small taste of victory at the beginning. Reward them for completing the game loop as early as you can. That way they'll be more likely to keep on playing. Of course, there's not much time to playtest and revise during a game jam! Im very impressed with what you were able to make given such limited time. I hope you'll finish this prototype and keep making games in the future. Good luck!
