Really fun, and one of the slickest art styles of any of the jam games, beautifully done platformer with a nice mechanic! Thank you for sharing your work on it, it is truly inspiring and I hope to see more.
And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
amazing man
made sure to give a rating!
can you check out my game to?
The graphics are fantastic, and the gameplay is a blast with an appealing visual style. However, as others have pointed out, there are a few persistent bugs that detract from the experience. Personally, I had to reset the level multiple times due to these issues. It would be wonderful to see those bugs addressed.
Other than a few bugs (like what other users mentioned), the game's pretty solid.
Tip for everyone: as soon as you pass through the first stage using "run + jump" and don't use crawl on spikes, everything is great!
the game is really nice! I love the graphics and the wall jumping mechanics, however, it could use some music to set the mood! 8/10
Really creative idea, there were a few bugs with crouching like if you crouch and fall on spikes you don’t die, and speaking of death, the animation is nice, but it just takes too long to get back to play, and sometimes it wasn’t clear if I’m gonna make certain jumps or not, and the font is litteraly unreadable, but other than that, the game is quite enjoyable :)
this one is definitely making it to top 3. very fun game and deserves it
Had some bugs with the crouching, and some jumps didn't feel right. The first spikes I passed them by crawling and didn't die, but bugged out. But loved the art and sounds! Maybe consider adding some ambience music? Nice puzzles and I think that with minor tweaks the game is 9/10.
Question: is the art made of tiles or are the levels premade before adding to Gdevelop? Really loved the design of the levels and the game concept.
Artist here! The levels are made up of tiles and the programmer created levels using Tiled. Glad you like the art! Had a lot of fun making so many variations.
Really fun! I enjoyed the cleaver mix between puzzles and platforming. Good job!
Fun to play <3
i love the art style of the game :D
i got stuck where i was supposed to slide/crouch, didn't know how to do that D:
a lil tutorial other than texts would be epic ! <3
a lil background music would be amazing as well :D
overall, well made !
I love the atmosphere and your pixel art is great, one of the best games I've tried so far in this game Jam.
What I liked the most: The somewhat scary theme and the sound effects.
What I didn't like: the laser death has a delay that is confusing. Leveldesign a little frustrating in some parts.
The crouch/crawl behavior has some inconsistency to toggle on/off.
Very fun game, well done!!!!!
Very impressive graphics and sound design, but I've encountered a few bugs...
When I chose "continue" in the main menu, I can't restart to checkpoint and go back here :
I finally managed to play ! It's a very good game !
I'm glad I persevered, it was worth it...
Great Job, very fun and engaging game to play.
Love the art work of this game - beautiful colour pallete that really pleasing to my eyes. I didn't get far because I'm horrible at platformers yet I enjoyed it and think it could be top 10 in the games I've played. If you want you can try my game out and give some feedback + rating. https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787
Beautiful puzzle game.but the controls were a bit unnatural(for me). I would prefer maybe arrows to move,z to jump and x to sprint. Buen trabajo ;)
PD:could you please play my game and provide some feedback?
This spectacular, interesting way of taking advantage of the camera; A mini movie.
