Cool game, keep up the good work!
Great "thwomp" audio, controls feel good. I am pretty bad at it, but I need to practice more! It's a really nice take on the "turn platforms on and off" mechanic for the jam, nice work, and cute little gnome too!
And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
thanks i will check out ur game if i have time
Your game idea is simple, but you've used the theme well. There are other similar games in the jam, so maybe after it's over, you could add something special to make your game more unique.
Cute little game that I really enjoyed!
thanks :)
Okay, I am hooked! You see, your game reminded of Jump King and Getting Over It.
Absolutely randomly, I got to understanding that you should NOT jump when going on a mushroom, but rather you should save jump for later. Is this intentional? That's the only way I could beat the game.
Anyway, I would adjust a few things and even release the game:
- you cannot die, but just fall like in those games I mentioned higher
- faster restart
- leaderboard
- much bigger levels
- better graphics/audio
- koyote time because sometimes it is just plain frustration
- work a bit on input, because you not always can switch the bulb midair (or ban this completely and make it clear to the player)
Awesome game! I've been thinking about releasing sometimes similar just for fun! :)
Also, can THE CREATOR beat my high score? :D
thanks ill try to implement those things after the jam
and about the score my fastest time was about 37 seconds or something :)
