I love this game tons of fun I left it a rating please check out and rate mine before deadline
A good idea that you could develop further !
You should prioritize adding sounds and music to make the game much more immersive...
Obviously there's only so much you can fit into a game jam (and I gather from the replies here you were probably shorter on time than most), but a little more audio would have done wonders here. Just a little victory jingle, even. Still, it's an impressively solid game as far as it goes: the timer, and the possibility of, say, moving Yellow to the heart before spotting the switch necessary to free Blue on the third level is an effective combination. I imagine you could come up with a bunch more interesting levels if you wanted to expand it.
Your game is good and can get better if you take care especially of the sound. I also can't unlock level 4.
Nice and simple lil game, Im guessing you didn't have a lot of time and I applaud you for making this in the time you did have. I think the UI and menus were very smooth and neat, and the premise of the game was good, good work overall.
If you've got the time, I'd appreciate it if you could play and rate my game to :)
Yes, sadly I didn't have much time to work on it more but thank you so much for playing! and I'll definitely check out your game as well :D
Hmm, a cute, simple game. It's a very competent execution of the character-switching platformer. I especially liked the mirrored invisible room.
I couldn't progress past the third level. It becomes locked upon exit. I can't tell if this is intentional or accidental.
The settings button and locked level buttons produce a piercing, annoying noise. I think that should be something different.
The art is mostly charming, but Yellow's awake face is strange. While blue is very silly-looking, and yellow is cute while asleep, yellow's awake face looks like they're about to eat me. The combination of black circles around the eyes with tiny pupils make them look quite scary.
Good attempt! Congrats on submitting!
Yes, the buttons do have an annoying noise haha and I'll be sure to change it when I have time. Also the locked upon exit actually is a bug and I can't seem to fix it because I didn't have enough time so I just left it. Thank you so for the feedback and playing!
This is a cool idea, bringing the two blocks together. I really like it and hope to see it developed further. I did have some difficulty reaching the higher stages, not sure how to unlock them. Thanks for sharing your work on this!
And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
Currently I only made 3 levels so the others are locked. Thanks for playing the game and giving feedback! (Sure, I'll definitely check out your game!)
Assuming the game only has three levels, this is a solid foundation. I do feel the game to be a bit empty due to the sound design, but overall this has potential.
Yess I do feel that way as well it just feels bland without sounds.. and thank you so much for playing and the feedback!
What a fun little take on the platformer genre! I really liked it. Needs a reskin, and maybe some better audio, but very fun base mechanics! Great work! (Another thing could be they have their own special powers or something).
Thanks so much! Actually I wanted to add their own special powers but then I didn't have enough time because I was busy with other things sadly..
Good try, well done!
Would you mind taking a moment to check out my game as well and provide a rating? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Game Link
Thanks bro, I'm a bit late but sure I'll check yours out too :D
