Your game is such a cozy experience! I really enjoyed the gentle tone of the game, giving love to old hardware is so satisfying. The presentation is top notch with the relaxing music, beautiful hand drawn graphics and muted colors! I would love to play an extended version of this, where you meet customers, listen to their stories while you repair, or with more interaction in the neighborhood... I feel like there is a lot of story-telling potential here. Loved every second of it!
PS: for some reason, I couldn't make your game fullscreen on itch and the itch labels on the top right corner kept getting in the way of the cursor, so I ended up searching for your game on gd.games and play it there.
This is absolutely the intention! I fell in love with this game whilst I was making it, there was so much I wanted to add, including context for each item etc! Thank you so much for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also thanks for letting me know about the fullscreen! Sorry it didn't quite work as expected on here, but happy it works over on gd.games at least!
I'm not surprised at you fell in love with it while developping it 😁 I'll keep an eye out for an updated version should you decide to make it!
Cool game!
Excellent. Graphics and atmosphere to be commended. A little problem on the camera until I realized that I need to buy a rust remover. A polished and calming game.
Thank you for playing! I've had that feedback a few times now so it's getting changed after the voting ends!
wow this game is so dam polished ! :0
enjoyed playing a lot <3
I love the game style and the art style :D
I didn't know what to do at the beginning to start the game, or how to play the game >.>
but after few clicks around I got it B)
a lil tutorial at the beginning would be amazing ! :D
If you can add some highlight on the areas I can click on in the main menu, would be amazing ! :3
Thank you for playing, and for the feedback!
I imagined this from the ground up as a bit of an exploring experience, but I will definitely consider adding a tutorial for those that want one!
Great game. Good graphics. Plays well.
Thanks for playing!
Damn thats a neat game
Wow best graphics I have seen so far, well done!
Would you mind taking a moment to check out my game as well and provide a rating? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Game Link
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! I'll check yours out for sure!
Great game! I didn't find the rust cleaner at first and really struggled hard to clean the blood on the camera :D
Thanks for playing! Glad you found it in the end, sorry to hear it was hard to find for you though!
Polished to a degree I thought never possible during a game jam. Art and music were great and the game was super satisfying. The only part I didn't really like was having to clean those stains off the camera. I found that part to be a bit tedious. Overall a brilliant game!
Thanks for the feedback! Considering continuing this after the jam so I'll definitely take that on board!
Another great competitor who opted for first place, one of the most gratifying sensations of this jam.
Wow. Just, wow.
The mechanics were very intuitive. It's like a wholesome nostalgic rendition of those old "surgery flash games." Putting the old back together. I could've done this for hours.
The art is gorgeous; it's soft and understated. It captures the themes perfectly.
Outstanding work.
Thank you so much for this comment! It means so much to me that you got exactly what I intended out of the game!
Such a nice chill game, I had a good time with this. I love the hand drawn art and the music is awesome!
Thank you for playing, and for such kind comments!
