I really liked how you named the game, "Build, Shoot and Recover" And that's exactly what you had to do in this game

(1 edit)

Thanks! It was hard to name the game, but I think the title is a perfect fit. I'm happy you liked it!

Nice little shooting game. Maybe would be nice if the zombies started to speed up over time.

Happy you enjoyed it! We tried to add scaling difficulty, though now I realize maybe not enough.

Very fun and enjoyable, I liked being able to build stuff and camp in the corner

Haha I'm glad you liked it!

Really cool game, I had a lot of fun playing it. Rated :)

Thank you! Rating helps us a lot!

I enjoyed and  had already rated your game.

Here is my feedback and please don't get me wrong. I have a few suggestions considering that you uploaded it 2 days before the deadline =) so you had some extra time =)

The game could be harder: I kept playing till level 100 and wasnt that hard. You could combine some dash/sprint mechanism as well, faster enemies and stuff

I miss a little the build/rebuild mechanic. It was there, but if the player had to craft things, maybe the game became naturally more challeging

And some day night cycles, sprite animations could make the game more live/dynamic

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Those suggestions probably would have made the game better

Thanks for the feedback! It would've been better to know before the deadline. Although, about the crafting mechanic, I don't think we could've included that, even with the two days left, since it would've taken more sprites, animation, scenes, and needed at least a week, knowing that we both had school and little free time.

Now i rated yours too ;)

Thank you!

Good job. Need a improvement but the concept is nice.

I'm happy you liked it! We wanted to improve some concepts of the game. But there was no time to work on the cover of the game page or work on the social part of the game.

There's a good spot for improvement but the concept seems good. Was there anything else to build except upgrading your weapon by collecting stuff? If so, a tutorial would be cool! :)

I'm glad you liked it! We do recognize that there are some things we could do to improve gameplay and mechanics, but the time was limited, and we also wanted to improve the website and the social part of the game.

nice shooter game ! But my opinion Give some tutorial before gameplay. Nce game !

Thank you! I'm happy that you liked it! As I said to LeeBeeGames, the controllers are in the game description, but an in-game tutorial would've been better, but we couldn't find a nice and simple way to fit the controls in the game.

It's a cool game, and I personally like a lot the aesthetic. My only complaints are that I could not figure out how to place stone blocks and that the music isn't on loop. However, I think it's a pretty decent project, just wished the building mechanic was given more relevance because tbh I feel like I could 100% play this game and get a high score without placing any blocks.

It is, however, enjoyable despite that, so nice work, mate!

I'm happy you liked it! To place stone spikes that damage the zombies and you, if you aren't careful, you have to scroll up with the mouse, to change the material you are building. About the music, one of three different songs is picked. Once one ends, another random song plays. Hope this works!

Fun game, but the build mechanic is a bit underwhelming. Especially when zombies are already much slower than player and get stuck on rocks and bushes easily.

(1 edit)

Hi! We thought that a building mechanic would be a way to separate this game from most of the zombie-shooter games out there. We still knew that there could be situations where using it would require much more timing.

Fun inovative zombie game!

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Nifty little Zombie shooter, there are never enough zombie games :D

(+1)

Thank you! Happy you liked it! We tried to make this game classic yet not generic by adding more game mechanics so it isn't a random zombie-shooter game and it's more distinctive from the rest.

The music is really appropriate for this game.

I have a feeling that if the music wasn't good, it wouldn't be a game.

I have a little problem with the construction, although I pick up the stones I just can't build a block and I can't find wood to pick up anywhere.

The game is fun :)

Hi! I'm glad you liked it! The music was carefully picked and I think it fits very well. Rocks build spikes, wood builds blocks. To change the material you are using, scroll down and up with the mouse wheel.

Developer

Thanks for the reply. With stone you can make spikes and to makes blocks you need to shoot down trees and grab the wood. Hope this helps, Have a great day!

A fun game. I played longer than I thought I would. An in game tutorial would have been great. Great attempt!

I'm glad you liked it! The controllers are in the game description, but an in-game tutorial would have been better, I agree.

I would add in more feedback for everything, there is a lot of good concepts here just doesn't feel as fun as it should in my opinion.

Yes, that's what we were trying to achieve with the sound effects and other technics. But if you have any thoughts, suggestions, or ideas to add to the game, we are all ears and you can comment below, on the game's page.
