Good start here. Any slight difference between the fake rocks and the real would be great. Keep at it!

Developer

I took the rocks from the asset store

Submitted

Yep! I used them as well so I completely understand. Duplicating them, then editing with Piskel to put a new border (and saving as a new file) would likely be a quick solution.

Nice submission! I was not able to make it to level 9, but with time and many retries… maybe. LOL

Developer

Did you see this

Submitted

I did and was able to jump around, but kept missing so I had to start over.

Shame you weren't able to upload this game to itch.io on-time. As for the game itself, It was fun until I stepped on a collision-less asteroid. So yeah, moral of the story is check the collision of your rocks.

Ok, so some asteroids having no collision was intentional. An indicator on which was real or not would have been nice.

Developer

I made it 3-4 days early

and this was my first game jam ,and alright game that I ever made.

I started using gdevelop about 3-4 days before the jam so I didn't really know much back then and still dont

Some asroids are fake because that's how the theme fits in, Unstable.

I want to be the Astronaut. XD.

Developer

In the game you are the astronaut

I think you base you game in this game... It's a hard platformer, like yours.

Developer

As the owner I know which platforms are real I think its easy.

I will try this game you told me rn and tell you my results or something

Cool game, quick & simple !

altough no checkpoints, did make it longer than I thought it would :)

Developer

Thanks For playing my game!

I don't really know how to make checkpoints.

Developer

And thanks For following me! :)

I think you could make a frustrating game with this idea, similar to getting over it, but for that you should indicate some way what platforms are fake (maybe some glitch effect or shake), and if you dont want to do that, at least some checkpoints to avoid making it unfair.  Anyway, I would play a remake of this game if you make it. Good luck with the jam! 😁

Developer

I will make a game where the person playing has bad internet and the platformers movement will get delayed and the amount getting delayed gets more after you complete levels. Thanks for the follow!

In fact, I prefer games where players have equal information with the designers. Two small suggestions:

1. If the player falls for too long, and there is no platform below, consider reducing the height

2. Subsequent levels need to be unlocked after the previous level is cleared, so they can be displayed after the level is cleared

Its really frustrating that some stones have a platformer behavior and some don't. It feels unfair, because it forces you to replay long runs, maybe it’s intended. Also, the unstable theme doesn’t seem to be there apart from the title.

Developer

Sorry if it is to hard for you, the unstable part is that some are fake and some are real I didn't get time to make to wobble or something

Fun climbing game with low gravity ! :o

One of the rocks have no collision (can't stand on) D: no idea if that's a trap or a bug :D

Overall, well made !

Developer(+1)

the rocks have no collision so it can be unstable and the other levels have faster speed and higher gravity.

Thanks for playing!

Developer

Play it on Gdevelop
