Lmao I wasn't expecting those sound effects, had a good laugh. The movement and shooting feel just right and the sfx really tie the whole silly goofy mood together. Also the font you chose was perfect.
I think the game could benefit from the money decay being a bit slower, cause it's currently a bit too hard to even have a positive balance when ending the game. Still, really lovely little game!

awesome game. throwing pcs and monitors and stuff to a bunch of crazy suits is something i didnt know i needed, but i do.
is it really possible to not get in debt? staying positive on the money seems impossible. i think getting rid of the weapons and just throw office supplies would be even more fun.
extra points for a wilhelm scream
The game feels awesome! Now why I had negative money? And why I glitched out of the building? Uuuuuh
Alright, the theme feels awesome, the game is funny and the best part the enemys, the best way to win is literally letting them kill one itch other hhaha, very good game
Was funny, had nice graphics and audio (wilhelm scream is always a good choice). The pick up and throw physics felt good.
I like the idea for the game, and the movement felt nice...but the enemies felt like they had wonky hitboxes and took a bit too much damage (or the hit detection was inconsistent). With throwing objects - the damage felt inconsistent or something was off. Still, great presentation and I'd love to see it fleshed out more.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, we noticed this too, there is definitely a lot of kinks to sort out with the damage system and hitboxes, it is all hidden values. Smaller throwables do 40, larger ones deal 80 damage, but it isn't really communicated to the player at all. Also fun fact: you can miss your shot by shooting between the head and body of the enemies, which is pretty frustrating and happens pretty often. The hitboxes could have definitely been more generous . Thanks for playing and taking the time to report back. :^)
Pop up damage numbers would be a nice, juicy, addition and are actually pretty easy to implement quickly.
There were a lot of things that felt just about right and made me really want to play it more, especially with the appealing aesthetic.
Hit me up if you guys decide to add more / tweak it outside of the jam, I really would like to play an updated version of this. :)
Wall Street.
Also holy heck Edd Ed n Eddy SFX! Didn't know how good it fits for these kinds of games till now, my only issue is that there isnt enough of them, I think rolf howling would've been a good one to add as well.
Overall its a pretty funny game and I had fun playing it. Got away with $1k on 3rd try
Very fun and polished entry!
The sound effects are really funny and the gameplay feels nice. Being able to grab any object and throw them works really well with the setting of the game!
The last part where everyone is rushing at you is really chaotic and fun!
Amazing job!
Enjoyed the idea, and speed running types are always fun for jams!
I think that the audio could use a bit of adjusting, but the core gameplay loop was solid!
Good entry!
Really fun! Could have used a bit more sound but otherwise the movement was great and It fit the theme well.
Yeah usually sound is something I attribute a great deal of importance to but we got caught up in our timings and (poor) organization so it wasnt as developed as I would have liked. Definitely something we're going to have a better understanding of now that we've got this first gamejam experience under our belt lol. Thanks for the kind words :)
