I like how the muzzle flash has a light source, nice attention to detail xD I would have preferred some kind of goal though instead of just surviving, maybe a countdown to survive for 60 seconds and exit the level

Thanks for playing!

Ah, it reminded me of good old Crimsonland. Smooth gameplay, a perk system that is very appropriate for the theme, chill music. Everything is done as it should be. Well done!

nice game, gameplay is very smoothly. The theme is integrated in very nice way. Keep on running!

the price mechanic is honestly genius, plus the game in general is really fun and could easily be expanded upon!

but im not sure  how you regenerate health, if tahts even possible? maybe couldve added an option where you gain health but lose out on one of the upgrades, wouldve fit with the price mechanic!

Hey thanks for playing!

The heal mechanic is just healing on level up, I wanted to add an indicator but I ran out of time.

Thanks for playing!

oooh okay that makes more sense! Thanks!

Oh, I had fun playing this game!

Nice take on the theme. Even though I didn't always see the effect of the choices I made? I didn't see any knock back for instance. I survived 1:45, they were swarming!

Very clear instructions on how to play in-game.

Cool submission!

Developer

The knockback could use some tune, a little bit weak right now imo.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, but the game was still enjoyable. Is the dash a little weird directionwise? :-)

I think the map looks very cool! I also enjoyed the ability to upgrade yourself with the cost of a downgrade. However I do think that the enemies needs to be nerfed a little bit, I think they're a bit too fast that Ive had moments where Im leading a horde of them only to be caught off guard by a single enemy running from the opposite direction ... which often led to me struggle to get them off of me. Other than that I had fun running around the map blasting the enemies. The music you selected also fit very well with the game. good game overall, nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

The 3rd party assets are well chosen and work well together, but I think it's lacking a bit of personnal touch visually.

The gameplay is nice and the VFX and floating texts really helps making it juicy. The grenade that uses your health is a nice touch to make the game more than a classical shooter, nice! :D

Good job, nice entry :)

Developer

Yeah the main background is a used asset, I wanted to make the main character and enemies and all of their things myself. Used voxel art to try and give it an arcade vibe since I am not really aren't really 3D modeler. Thanks for playing the game and the feedback!

The game its pretty good, just that the only thing i dont know is wy the menu is 2d and the stetic of the game change a 3d. But over all its very nice

Had a lot of fun playing this one! The upgrade system was a really nice touch, controls felt smooth and intuitive. I also appreciate that you went for a 3D game where most people do 2D.

Only suggestion would be to make the dash feel a little better by having the camera only loosely follow the character. Also I often die right after an upgrade screen because the enemies keep coming and I don't have time to shoot.

Overall, great work!

Developer

I agree on the dash needing a bit of work.

Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun!
