Gráficos y música logrados. Me ha surgido algún bug y el combate a melee podría mejorar, enlazando combos de alguna manera que no se tratara solo de pulsar al botón repetidas veces.
Really liked the way this felt to play overall - I got the spear bug, which was pretty amusing, haha. The different weapons were really fun to play with.
Really charming visual style and interesting mechanics with tons of potential. Got the spear bug as well unfortunately, but I'd love to see more of this game once the voting period ends!
An infinite spawning of spears was a fun note to end on honestly! cool bite sized adventure otherwise :]
It's a bit buggy, but the gameplay system here is really nice. I too encountered the bug with the soldier who infinitely spawns spears out of his head, it's pretty hilarious. It also seemed like I died in two hits, and that the standard punch did no damage to enemies.
The aesthetics feel a bit like Kirby, but the weapon switching reminds me of a Mega Man Zero game. There's something charming about the design here that makes me think, "a younger version of me would have been in LOVE with this game." It's inviting and somewhat cute, but also has cool character designs and flashy attacks.
Loved the player and enemy designs! The animations in this game are a joy to watch! The weapons were fun to use, though the weapons breaking did get a little frustrating when I had to backtrack or when there were no weapons to pick up (not sure if these are intentional design or the result of bugs). I did run into one bug where I fell into a pit and didn't die, which forced me to restart the game. Looking forward to any updates :)
Impressive eye to detail in art, very authentic too. Everything looks great. Player character reminds me of Klonoa, pretty cool.
The music is nice, but gets repetitive.
Nice gameplay. I really like how some enemies have patterns, and weight to them when they're hit. Another cool thing is how weapons such as the spear have special moves. Controls can feel a bit wonky, especially the dash. So far I do not understand the purpose of the dash, as it doesn't seem to add a lot to the gameplay loop. So far, at least.
The durability aspect of the game could be cool, as it theoretically forces the player into deciding whether to trade a low durability spear (longer reach) for a high durability sword (short reach), leading to interesting situations. However, it was not explored that much in the few screens I was able to play through. I can't say too much about what the rest of the game would've been like, because of the below:
I've run into a fatal bug. During a fight spears spawned infinitely, eventually hogging all of my system's resources and rendering the game unplayable.
During a second attempt at playing the game, the same fatal bug was reproduced. A shame. Congratulations to the team on the effort, however.
Hi! Yes, the bug is known. After the voting period ends, we'll upload a fix to this (it's already fixed internally). There's, and this is embarrassing, an entire soundtrack that just isn't implemented in the game because of the crash. We'll upload it somewhere!
Oh damn... That's very unfortunate. From the quality of everything up until that point, I'm sure you guys made a cool game and soundtrack. Good luck!
