I tried the web version but couldn't get past the first screen, not sure how to press Start

Really interesting gaming concept. pretty story driven with some combat sequences. To bad I end up killing my entire …..lol

Anyway I think there's a lot that can be thought about and improved on for your next jam! Try to simplify your art direction and figure out a scale that works through your game more. Overall i think you did a good job but the scaling of everything just felt a bit off. Don't be afraid to make your art smaller with less detail. 

Not sure i can explain this but i would look at references such as Zelda for GB or Final Fantasy to get an idea of what I mean. I think even with the skills you displayed in your game, you could easily copy a few character references down for you to use in the future.

Your skills in game dev definitely will be storytelling and more. definitely could see huge potential in a project like this :)

Controls are not very responsive for a slasher :)

The game reminds me about Saboteur I've played on ZX Spectrum when I was a child.
