Very cool, hardcore platformer, but you should really speed the character movement up!

Anyway, great work, and great Gameboy feel!

The character felt a little bit slow, as was the moving platform bit with the piranhas. That being said, I enjoyed playing ! (also hidden paths, I love that !)

Lovely graphics, fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Great art and music! I love challenging platformers but I found a bit unfair to have to restart the level each time you dead. Maybe a health bar fits better than the syringe system.

A pretty hardcore game indeed.

Nice entry, this one's really tough! The horizontal movement is so much slower than expected for a platformer!

The pixel art is great, but I wasn't a fan of the sprite scaling; it really detracted from the "gameboy feel" for me. It also kind of bugged me that you could jump up to the first monkey throwing rocks, but you can't jump on them.

I didn't actually manage to beat it, but I might come back to this one and give it another shot. :)

Very hard game. Love the graphics. The pseudo 3-D effects are really great.

Great game with a harsh difficulty curve, but very funny to play and retry.

Good job!

I hate to be 'that guy' but the particle effect used when you pick up the collectable at the start uses colours outside of the 4 in your palette due to the opacity levels.

I love how bouncy landing on enemies is though, fun stuff :).
