The lamp lighting is great! Very visually interesting!
It certainly is an interesting concept and can see where there could potentially be many different improvements (collision, lighting that also illuminates the background and so on, I also managed to get softlocked unfortunately), but for it being your first game it's pretty good! Don't give up, my first game also had its fair share of bugs and fixes and whatnot, but eventually you'll get there! Be proud of what you made!
Yeah i only found the softlocks after uploading, but as long as its where i think then thankfully its at the end ^^;
I'm definitely looking forward to update this later!

I see someone commented on the sounds, but I didn't get any when using the browser version. Unsure if I'm getting tricked or if I encountered technical difficulty.
As far as im aware it works? It does cut out intentionally, but there should be music
Hmm.... it does give a developer console popup about a null pointer dereference. Might just be the combo of Firefox and Linux making the browser version not quite work right.
Honestly, probably something to do with one of my refs not loading in right? Either way, hopefully when I update it sometime after the jam the sound should work properly!

I love the Visuals for this ! the design for the player character is really cute. I think its a good basis for a game going forward!
Yo I can't tell you how creepy the music and the game is, tho you didn't finish it in time the game feels like those horror games disguised as casual games
