Who submitted an actual pre-existing gameboy game to the jam??
Jokes aside this game is flawless! It gives me huge Kirby vibes and I love everything about it!!

Wow, that was a really solid platformer. Got my single wish too.
Fast, nice bounces on enemies, the gun's good to fire too.
Thanks for the game.
Wonderful and cute! One of the best entries. I just wish I could play this on a real game boy <3
This is definitely a GameBoy game! The chiptune, the graphics, the control. Really liked it.
The inertia is something I totally liked as well. If I could add something, I'd say gamepad support and color palette swap, but they are just "nice to have"s, the game doesn't need them. It's great!
The gameplay felt fantastic on this! Very polished. I liked the bubble mechanic. This really captured the GB feel as well. Nicely done!
This is crazy good game loved every second of it. Loved how there was upgrades to unlock for the player too. The pixel art was really nice and had a lot of charm.
Excellent game, the colors look amazing, and the levels hide many secrets. A game to play for a long time.
It would be incredible on a GB.
Such a fun and well made platformer! The mix of progression through the small but well designed levels, the Wario Land-like interactions, the freedom to go to any planet from the beginning and being able to exit the levels with the starts you collected...
It all feels really good here, except the boss fight. It was honestly a bit anti-climatic and easy. But the basketball teaming saves it quite a bit and it got a laugh from me jajaja
Overall one of the best entries no doubt, would like to see you continue this project!
Very fun game, great graphics, but it doesn't really feel like it fits the space theme... I mean the space part is really just the level select and I guess you could consider the setting of the boss fight space, but it would kind of be like saying Mario Odyssey fits a space theme...
I really like the graphics and the quality of the gameplay is very polished. It's something I would love to have played back in the gameboy era.
Wow, definitely a great game! Way beyond what I was able to do. LOL I'm not worthy of a review, but would appreciate any constructive feedback as I can see you have a lot of experience doing this.
So, where to begin, the controls were great, I did feel in control. That said I am not normally a keyboard game player so getting a hang of the buttons to press for me was hard, I kept wanting to hit jump instead of fire and fire instead of jump, but that's a me issue not a you issue. LOL
Love the menu screen and all the visuals. A great deal of love was put into this I can tell and SO fits the Gameboy Soul! Wish I was playing on a Gameboy (or at least a gamepad) as I feel like I'd be able to fully take in the game. The sound and music were making me fondly remember the old school Gameboy I remember. I still have my Gameboy Advance SP, wish I had the OG one though too.
Enemy AI seemed spot on too and a great variety of levels, though me getting through them all will likely take longer and I REALLY want to rate and comment on as many games as I can.
Thank you for making the game, was a blast!
I don't have much to add; it's great! The art is especially whimsical, and the soundtrack is masterful. Great work!
loved it! the resemblance to kirby dreamland is incredible, also with some really good and well used mechanics!
