That was fun! The sepia + blue palette is striking; it fits well with the cool art. The music, unincorporated as it is, is quite somber and nostalgic.
I liked how chess-like the building arrangement mechanics were; it's very fitting with the setting! I wish there were more explicit instructions for each of the building's rules, but I figured out most of them through trial-and-error... except the square field-looking piece, I'm not sure about that one.
I'm not sure how this would be implemented, but I wish the villager movement wasn't random. It makes some of the levels feel especially RNG-based as far as achieving ideal results.
Great work!
I loved the concept of the game, I truly hope you will be able to finish it in the future and submit the final version! A little tutorial would be handy for sure. But still quite easy to understand.
Shame you didn't have time to finish this, but that's understandable, With the music looped in background, I got the full experience. The most original idea so far! :)
pretty cool game. the music didn’t play for me, but I listened to the provided files. great tunes! without a tutorial and explanation, it’s a bitt difficult to figure out what to do. also the iso perspective makes it hard to aim. maybe it would be helpful to highlight the tile the UFO is over.
I like it, it is fun to build things.
Thank you for the nice comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it :3
can you also include a macos-x64 version?
Unfortunately we cannot add files until voting ends, but we'll be completing the game and uploading it as a separate project
ah, right. thanks. I got my windows pc out… cool game!
