Simple, yet fun!
The art is the highlight for me, it's really good! Although maybe there should be a better indication of what the "good stuff" to bump into were.
I hope you had fun in this jam!
Congrats on your submission! I think my favorite thing was the dodge animation. I couldn't tell if any of the items were good or if they were all hazards. I smashed into everything and died a few times. Then I noticed the up arrow. I wasn't sure what it was doing but it wasn't hurting me. After a while I realized I lost my dodge and got hit by a few things. I guess I dodged too many times? I noticed I could dodge again after a while, but wasn't sure why or where the marker was.
Very fun. The chill music made the infinite fall into the void very relaxing. Until I died.
The music and graphics adhere well to the gameboy-style. Start screen looks cooool.
There is not very much gameplay, and the challenge is more a test of endurance than of skill; I'm pretty sure it doesn't get harder over time?
Dodging feels good.
Nice lil' game 👍
A fun little game! I really love the palette and graphics :).
I wish the difficulty would increase over time (or it does but too slowly?). Also its difficult to differentiate obstacle from power up (I think there is just one power up?).
Congrats!
The graphics are stunning. Incredible job on that front. The whole look is fantastic. The gameplay is pretty simple, but there's nothing wrong with it and everything functions. I like the designs of the start- and gameover-screens.
